I think you have done brilliantly with the savings! You have over 17 thousand! That is impressive. You certainly deserve the holiday

I’ve moved my holiday back to the 12th of October, we have a big project on in work which is time sensitive and I’d feel guilty swanning off. It actually suits anyway as NI restrictions update haven’t been announced yet. Hopefully it will be the same as England and no pcr to travel home. Going to be flat out until the 8th and then I can start to take my food off the gas and relax in time for holiday.I’m allowing myself £200 for groceries and £150 for petrol and other spends until Tuesday 12th when I set foot in the airport. That way I might be able to save another £ or two out of this months wage and have some £ for duty free. I’m paid the day after I come home so won’t need anything to come back to. Just need to stay out of the shops until I go !21 days to go.0

Happy to hear I won’t have to pcr to get home. Went to Primark today was super restrained. Spent £27 and have a new winter dressing down to come home to from holiday. Super glad to see the weekend, it’s been a busy week in work. Parked on the settee now catching up with MAFS UK.Def got to start getting some holiday clothes out this weekend.
17 days to holiday. Really trying to keep my spending in check.
Going out next Saturday, pizza express and a few drinks. Hoping for a cheap one.0 -
Down to 14 days, still spending smart. Countdown to holiday is definitely on. Managed to squirrel another £20 over into the fees pot.I’m have £60 for petrol and £320 for everything else. I hope to squirrel some that away and have some leftover for the airport. Saturday needs to be low cost1

Down to £309 left and squirrelled some more away, 13 days to go. Hope I’ve done my sums right, that seems like a lot. Still Saturday to come out that will make a fair dent. Think my friends planning a right sesh. Friend of a friend told me houses are going for at least £15k more than asking price round here at the minute. Hope that’s not right!0

You need to get Phil and Kirsty on the case….then we could cheer on your house hunt on tv 😁
im sure you can have a sesh without making a massive dent…I could, but I’m a terrible lightweight 🤣, I think three drinks would equal falling over for me.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
