I ordered it on impulse from Argos and it arrived on time with all its bits, including a docking station, Resident Evil, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Super Mario Galaxy  .
We then discovered we really needed a second remote & nunchuk so we went into town and bought them in the first shop we tried (Gamestation). I can't believe it was all so relaxed and laid back and easy - I'm usually the one panicking and rushing around on Christmas Eve because something hasn't arrived from Amazon or somewhere  . When I read all the problems some posters have had I almost feel guilty that we had it so easy when weren't even desparate to get one, just saw that they were available and thought oh what the hell, we can always sell it if we don't use it :rotfl:
By Boxing day evening we decided none of us fancied Super Mario Galaxy (too cute and babyish!) so at 10.30 that night I put it on Amazon and when I got up the next morning it had sold. With the proceeds we bought Winter Sports 2008 which is great - the toboganning is like being in a simulator!
It really is a present for all the family - I've beaten DH at golf (:p ), DS1 is baseball king, his GF rocks at tennis, and even DS2 (who is an emo and more likely to be found sitting in a corner thinking suicidal thoughts) has perked up and beats us all at 10 pin bowling. DS1 thinks he IS Harry Potter and emo DS2 has found his spiritual home in Resident Evil.
All in all a very satisfactory impulse buy! :T
Mario Galaxy is one of the highest rated games ever on any console! You should of kept it. I defy any adult or child not to enjoy that game.0 -
Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of the 'Wii's Spotted or Wanted. Please post all availability for the Wii here' thread please? This doesn't seem to be the right place after all.0

I got my wii for christmas, and I love it. Got a bundle including carnival (think of a posh wii play) ratatouille (ok) and surfs up, plus she bought me sonic (brilliant). I went out and bought star wars which is absolutely amazing, and have also bought an extra remote and nunchuck. So it's already costing me money.
I think the graphics are great, but you do need an extra controller and nunchuch.
I think I am going to trade surfs up and ratatouille for super mario.0 -

We just got back on 27th and the wii is amazing. All the family have been playing, even my OH who shys away from all other consoles. All the friends and family I got the wiis for have also been highly impressed and enjoying it. Only thing is I am getting worst. My age on the wii sports is going up instead of down so a bit more practice needed. If anyone is looking for accessory's eg charge units etc. I recommend here: http://www.dealextreme.com/search.dx/search.wii This is where I got my extra remote and nunchuck for £32. The Power station is about £14 (prices shown in us dollars) here delivered and elsewhere is about £25.0
