  • Dunno if its any use to anybody, but Amazon has Wii 'console only', for £179.99 at the moment.
  • Sorry people, but they have gone up to £224 now. (my item was ordered at a stock level of 72 - the stock level has only dropped to 62, and its still the same package - but the price has gone up !).
    Does anyone know why?
  • The price has gone up because Amazon have sold all of there stock and the price showing now is from Marketplace sellers not Amazon themselves

Thought i'd pop back here to see if you all got your wii's and had a good Christmas day ?.

I had a good one and the 13 families I helped (along with user Bizzybee) were grateful for their Wii's at cost price, it's nice to help others.

Have a good New Year everyone.

and what does everyone think of the Wii after all the hard work getting one. Me I love mine, it's a great way to exercise and have fun at the same time.

Any recommendations on what game to buy next?

It does have some tricky elements to it that are not all that quick to pick up for casual gaming, but Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is a good alternative to Sports. I guess you could also say there's plenty of depth to keep you going till the real event starts.

680 for the string 'Wii Console' without games and clip on plastic bits and bobs. No upturn on Christmas eve though and there's unaccounted thousands that didn't sell and haven't been relisted imo.

I think its tacky junk with awful graphics and a very steep boredom curve.

Personally I would recommend an Xbox 360 for long term value everytime. Especially for anyone who plays online gaming - Xbox Live just has nothing to compete with it elsewhere.

Most bearable Wii game is probably Super Mario Galaxy.
