Planky, I don't think you have looked at the thread. If you look harder you'll find links to websites that search all the suppliers every 2 mins or so rather than expecting other MSErs to do it for you.

  • Hi there Argos had some in earlier this morning. They were for home delivery only though and it depends on where you live as well(They use your postcode to see if they have them in stock in your area).

  • Thank you to all users of this site I am new to posting but thought I would give it a go. With all your FANTASTIC instructions I duly ordered the much desired wii from Amazon.de It arrived brilliantly (why did I even think it wouldn't??) with free adapter included (those kind Germans!) HOWEVER plugged it all in Xmas day (Kids v excited they must have been such good boys??) and NOTHING!!!
Console made whirring noise wouldn't accept disc. Then when forced in frustration would not give it back!!!!! Makes v strange noise!
WE are stuffed!! 2 very unhappy children 2 frustrated parents (Yes I know should have checked it before Xmas day)
Anyone else had a problem? You all seeem to be enjoying yours just fine (not jealous or anything???!!!

Anyone any ideas or experience of contacting Nintendo??!!

    Many thanks

I know it may sound silly, but is the disc in the right way?

I had a customer with a simular thing and she had put the disc in upside down.

Always have the label side away from the butons on the front like this

    insertDiscCorrect.gif

try it vertical on the stand as that sems to have less problems ive read .

Have a look here on the nintendo site for some more help.

  • I'm afraid it makes no difference which way round the disc is or which disc is used as soon as you come anywhere near trying to insert a disc it buzzes at you and whirrs.
My husband (usually quite a mild mannered chap!) says its"*********" lots of words beginning with 'p' and 'f'
So looks like I'm about to do research into quality of nintendo customer services. Let you know how I get on!!
