I have removed it and my promise still holds. If i get another wii it is for Nokia.
  • I ordered a Wii on argos for Monday delivery but I haven't had a confirmation email, do they always send a comfirmation as some one needs to be here to take the delivery if I'm getting one ????
I ordered one from Argos too the £239 package, no email so after a couple of hours rang them, after 30 mins in the queue gave up. After 8 hours still no email so rang and spoke to guy with a terrible attitude who took details and said there was no trace of my order, it was the computers fault! Rang back and spoke to a lady who apologiesed but said they had problems and were ploughing their way through orders. Tried last night when the £179 ones were on the website, order went through the same as the first. Checked my credit card first (the money has been claimed) so rang Argos this morning to find the first order has gone through, delivery on Monday afternoon. Guy said I might get an email, but perhaps not as they are still having problems. so it might be worth checking with your payment card to see if they have claimed the money, then ring and confirmation from Argos. Not brilliant service from Argos but if it results in a Wii ~ Wooo Hooo!

    I have rung DHL

It is possible to do,you need to have

THIS PHONE NUMBER AT HAND: 08701 100 300 (option 1)

This is the number for customer service,it opens Monday at 8.30 am.

DHL will provide you with a German depot address and a unique reference code in that address.

Once they recieve the Wii parcel from Amazon Germany,it is simply forwarded on to your UK address.

This process can obviously be duplicated in France or any other country you require this service.

I am not looking for a Wii console myself, but I do hope this info helps fellow users of this site.

Well, if you're going to buy it, buy it, else take it out of your basket and let someone else have it. I thought you were getting this for Nokia?
AFAIK, until you actually buy an item, it is still available - just because something is in your basket, doesn't guarantee you'll get it.

  • Morning everyone

I just wanted to thank everyone on MSE for helping me get a Wii!!!!! If it wasn't for all the help here, I would still be wandering aimlessly around all the shops hoping one would appear.

After watching all the posts, on Thursday I saw the one for Toys R Us and managed to get one, and it was delivered this morning at 0930 (okay, I was impatient and paid for Saturday delivery :o ). I am delighted and this will be one happy household on Christmas Day (well, December 1st really, have to check it out first, lol)

So for everyone who is still looking for a Wii, don't give up hope. Keep looking at these posts and you WILL get one. I tried the various stock checkers but I found that it was better to watch the posts on here to be honest.

Thank you everyone for all your help, and Merry Christmas

I think they do ,I have always had a confirmation and others that didn't last week, didn't get a Wii.

There was a problem with emails. Ring them up they will confirm your order. If you dont have your order number they can find it using the card number you used to pay and will give you your order number.
  • Here I sit broken hearted got no wii Finger and button can not be parted!!!
