Good Afternoon All
Can anyone remember the site for tracking Santa on Christmas eve? is it called Nomad?
Sunday 5.45pm on channel 4, Elf is on! For those who love watching Xmas films!
What a busy morning! Had to nip into town for a few bits, & buy some outside lights to go on the garland for the front door. My cousin gave me 2 massive wreaths (the size you get in a shopping mall) Infact, they came from a shopping mall,(but I wont say where) he pulled them out the skip last year! We untied them and made them into a long garland, They even have red & gold baubles on them! Bargain! Hopefully, as its dry, he can get it up (the garland) and the rest of the outside decs.
Headache's gone! here's hoping it doesn't return! Thanks for everyone's concerns!
The engineer is suppose to be coming out on Monday for the TD, he rang today to say he's had a cancellation and could he come today! It suits me fine!
DD came home from school with a recorder, she's started recorder lessons. So Dlb I now pre-warn you of the noise you may hear!
Took all the buttons of OH old shirts & cut them up for rag cloths/dusters.
Need to sort the freezer and do this weeks meal plan.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
DG....Hope you the washer sorted
Nelski....Just call me John Boy.
Jannyannie....Hope DS is OK
Scuzz....I hope I'm not speaking out of turn but If you don't want to go out tonight then don't. If you do go, you are under no obligation to spend that amount of money. Please try not to get yourself so worked up and stressed over something like this.
Hugs to anyone I've missed, though even those who are sick or have poorly loved ones seem to have caught the Christmas spirit and the thread feels cheery and Christmassy today or is it just me. :snow_laug
Fair was a great success. Home with more rubbish than we donated but everyone happy.

Afternoon all
I'm supposed to be doing my Amazon listings, but I've snuck on here for a quick read.
Happy Birthday Thrift.
All is doom & gloom here, we had an open evening at school & the lodger managed to upset about 15 parents, by telling them exactly what she thinks of their kids, she ended up having a screaming match in Reception with one family. She can't find any family to stay with over Christmas, so it looks like she'll have to find the full rent. She went on a course last week & had to borrow £20 from me to pay her fare & also owes me £25 postage for her Christmas cards. The uncles are phoning regularly & are very rude, they just yell 'PEGGY-SUE' down the phone, without saying 'can I speak to'. She seems to have realised what's entailed & won't take their calls & has stopped going dancing.
I best get on with my Amazon listing.
Hugs Hester

Hi all
SCUZZ how the hell can your friend drink £100 worth of booze in a night? maybe I'm very boring but I have problems drinking a bottle of wine these days. If you can't afford it then don't do it. I'm sure she'll understand.
HESTER Your lodger is sucking the life out of you. Can't you chuck her out?
Thanks to all who have wished my DS well. He is sleeping on the sofa at the moment. He's drunk but hasn't eaten anything yet.
LEARNING TO SAVE I completely identify with the throwing up everywhere bit, it's a nightmare.
Hugs to all,
:A xx0
