  • Hi Folks, just an update - I am now Mortgage Free !!!!!!

I went to the BS and paid the balance - no congrats from them just a pitch to sell me more house insurance, I managed to say NO- LOL!

I then went to M&S foodhall to treat myself to dinner, I wandered around for 20 mins trying to persuade myself to part with £3.99 for a chilled meal and found I COULD NOT. So I left with a small raspberry meringue and a packet of prawn crackers to go with the home made Kung Po Chicken I made for dinner.

I did treat myself to a bottle of Rose wine (half price at Somerfield) and am typing before it starts to take effect ;)

Thanks for all your best wishes, couldn't have done it without you.

WHATATWIT - yes I will save some in an ISA but not for a couple of months, their are too many shabby things in the house crying out to be replaced.

    Have a good night

    Hello all

Haven't had a chance to keep up with you. Spent the day shopping, brought all 3 DGSs home. DGS3 refused 6.00 bottle and solids. He is now not very happy! DGS1 and 2 in bed together because they are brothers. Just going to see if DGS3 will take a bottle - he has gone rather agin it! DH out so coping on my own. Nightmare but reassured DD at 7.00 pm all OK as they on their way our for meal.

    Stressed out GB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hopefully I have a new avatar - cheers catznine if I have. couldn't find one of the grinch or scrooge which generally sums up my feelings towards xmas.

Been to dgs's bday party - seemed like an excuse for all the young mums to get together and have a  so I have left dd11 there for the night (bad mummy) and have ocme home to watch chicago on the box. On the way back have paid the deposit for the office lunch and done the shopping for the week (I hope)

thanks for the winter wonderland link tired mum - will defo take the kids there. I had seen adverts but assumed that it was about £20 to get in. will take dgs and dd11 so will give the skating a miss and combine it with a trip to see the lights - lovely
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

Just had a huge hug with DGS3 and he has taken 3 ounces - still against the bottle. He was the best of the 3 of them with a bottle when first tried! Even tried a cup tonight but no! Will sleep in with him tonight and just get up for a cuddle and a wee couple of ounces if necessary! His routine probably well out tomorrow when we take him home.

The £10 scooters I bought this morning from Dobbies are fab. DGS1 and 2 been scooting up the lounge earlier this evening. Next to no putting together and then they fold away back into their small boxes. Excellent!

    Hope you are all fine.

    Love GB
