22Shaan, I didn't receive a PDF confirmation either, i signed my echo sign documents last Tuesday, still no funds. Today is the 7th working day since signing so fingers crossed for today. I have spoken to numerous people at HSBC, just get the same response about it taking longer due to covid.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease, hopefully yours comes today then, please keep me updated, I wonder if it might be because on the echosign document it says the documents are due on in my case 14th October so maybe I’m thinking That date might correspond to when the transfer will be complete, as some people say they get there money on the same day or up to 2 weeks
Hi was the due date on the echo sign email the due date to send signed docs back or the due date for funds ? As it says you’ve got 10 days doesn’t it to return signed docs and then they cancel your application ? !! Does anyone know ? How long is it generally taking after signing echo sign for funds? and did you get confirmation PDF after signing ? Thanks all of you !

    Hi Anne,

the due date is mostly likely just a date to return the echo sign but because there’s no time scale for anything we just hoped it’d at least be a date to get the funds by, I did manage to get in contact today’s and they did confirm that and it’s just random, I signed my documents last Wednesday and today I got an update they’re still processing them so no idea when a payout will be, when did you echosign and did you get a pdf confirmation ?

    thanks
    I and poppyb1 also didn’t receive a pdf confirmation

Hi Shaan .. how you getting on?
    Hi Annie, still no luck,

Thanks for letting us know Poppy .. what time of day did it go into your account. ?
  • Signed the documents exactly one month ago today re:BBL/Feeder account. Managed to speak to someone on live chat whilst waiting on hold on the phone. Apparently, I've done everything I need to do and they are waiting on their side, specifically the Account Opening Team who they 'expect' to review in the next few days.

Will update in the next few days. I'm not hopeful judging by some of the comments here regarding how long people have had to wait, however I feel like it is a case of if I failed to follow up, things would continue at snail pace. I think a little nudging is required.
Update to this. After speaking with customer support who told me it would be done in a few days, I have just received an email from HSBC telling me that my application has been saved, along with the application number.

Yes, this is the exact same email I received over a month ago, prior to them sending the documents. The email gives you the application reference number along with the link to check your status, which I did....and it's exactly the same as before Re: Pre-Approval stage. So for whatever reason they have updated my application but it remains 'stuck' in the pre-approval stage (meaning the loan hasn't even been approved yet). Will follow up with them Monday.
Another update: Had to wait a further 2 weeks for a phone call from their account opening team. Waited two weeks for them to call me and ask if it was ok for them to do a soft credit check, I was on the call for 4:32 exactly. A further week has passed since the phone call and I've still had no updates or contact from them.
Wow. So spoke with support today for the fourth time and it's still in pre-approval stage. Asked if there was anything we could do to try and resolve things or speed up the process and was told no. The support member quite sharpishly told me that because the feeder account wasn't yet open and hadn't yet started the loan process so that's news to me as last time when their account team spoke with me on the phone they told me everything was ok and it should go though within the coming week (three weeks ago). Even asked if my application was lost or buried deeply somewhere to be told again that they can do nothing for me other than tell me to wait longer and be patient :(
  • I know the repayment plan could be change from 6 years to 10 year,
Do we need to contact the bank to change any terms? Or we don't need to do anything.
