My experience was; applied for a Hsbc feeder account on 10th June, it was accepted and opened on 13th August, I applied for the Bounce back loan on the same day, received the acceptance email with signature request on the morning of 22nd September and had the funds in my account 2 days later, on the night of 24th September.

My question is, the day after receiving my loan, the government announced the extension from 6 years to 10 years to repay, but is that an automatic extension or do you have to request it?
Hi thanks for sharing your timeframe, did you receive a PDF confirmation after you signed the documents for the ecosign for the BBL ?
Yes, it came immediately after signing

I phoned them and they asked if I had had pdf confirmation, I said I hadn't received it so they said they would put a 'note' on my file so someone would review it and get in touch if there was a problem, they haven't been in touch so I'm assuming all was ok.

May I ask what number you ring, every time I call I’m on hold for 30 minutes without speaking to  anyone
Hi its just the 0345 760 6060, i was on hold for 1 hour 15 minutes yesterday before i managed to speak to someone
Any luck with a payout , I think the date you said was tomorrow so hopefully you get it then, of if you’ve had a pdf in the mean time ?
Hi, nothing yet. Tomorrow is the date on my email 🤞🤞. I'll update you with the outcome, im a nervous wreck lol.

  • Hi isn’t the due date (in the echo sign email) the date you’ve got to return it by or is it the due date of funds ? Does anyone know and has anyone received funds yet ? Since returning echo sign and how long ? Thanks all!  Annie

22Shaan, I didn't receive a PDF confirmation either, i signed my echo sign documents last Tuesday, still no funds. Today is the 7th working day since signing so fingers crossed for today. I have spoken to numerous people at HSBC, just get the same response about it taking longer due to covid.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease, hopefully yours comes today then, please keep me updated, I wonder if it might be because on the echosign document it says the documents are due on in my case 14th October so maybe I’m thinking That date might correspond to when the transfer will be complete, as some people say they get there money on the same day or up to 2 weeks
Hi was the due date on the echo sign email the due date to send signed docs back or the due date for funds ? As it says you’ve got 10 days doesn’t it to return signed docs and then they cancel your application ? !! Does anyone know ? How long is it generally taking after signing echo sign for funds? and did you get confirmation PDF after signing ? Thanks all of you !

    Hi Anne,

the due date is mostly likely just a date to return the echo sign but because there’s no time scale for anything we just hoped it’d at least be a date to get the funds by, I did manage to get in contact today’s and they did confirm that and it’s just random, I signed my documents last Wednesday and today I got an update they’re still processing them so no idea when a payout will be, when did you echosign and did you get a pdf confirmation ?

    thanks
