Have managed to go through my email and make a list of every survey site I've ever signed up to (and there were loads!) and now I know which ones to look out for. Was overwhelmed by the amount of emails before and just used to leave them until it was too late to do the survey.

This has had to have been the longest month ever!!!! but I can see some light at the end of the tunnel now and it's full steam ahead for February.

How true! I've just started to really pay attention again to YouGov, lightspeed and test&vote/toluna in particular, as they seem to add up the most. Tho I'll be retired before I get to that £50 YouGov minimum!

I've finally managed to make another payment! I know what you mean polly, my totals look poor next to everyone else's and were supposed to be paying of £3000 by easter!

    But anyway onward and upward. I managed to squirrel away a few quid from my overdue csa payments so my new totals are as follows;

    Loan £11542.85
    Forma £1295.73
    Overdraft £1475

Which brings my new debt total to £14313.58

Whicvh means that so far for this challenge I have paid off £365.77/£20000

A bit more to come at the end of the month though I hope :D
Still on benefits so not doing too bad :o

Wondered where you'd got to Pollydaydream..nice to see you back and look forward to seeing all the updates coming in
  • Hi everyone.

Laura, I think that, given your circumstances at the moment, you're doing really well. Right, new mantra - "£3000 by Easter, stop faffing; £3000 by Easter - stop faffing" :)

I know what you mean about Yougov, Karmacat. I'm carrying on with it in case it's the last £50 I need to be debt free!

    Have a good day, everyone.

You will 'eventually' get there. I'm nearly there - got about £4 to go.. I have to say I've been registered a little while though :rotfl: - but it all helps.

Morning all, am having a good start to the day. The post man came and delivered me two prizes from some competitions i had entered over Christmas. They weren't anything special, but i was very excited. One was a dvd and the other a cookbook, so i have stuck them both on Amazon and after fees and postage i should make about £15 profit which will go towards this challenge. It's certainly renewed my interest in competitions now.

Nice to see you back pollydaydream.

Well am going to stop faffing and go and work on my very boring O.U assignment whilst trying to fill in surveys. Have a good day everyone.

    Hi All,

My first month is up and I've managed to pay £716.10 off my debts this month. Not a bad start I don't think - only £9283.90 left before Christmas.....

Everyone seems to be doing really well, considering it's January!

I paid £92.25 of cheques directly into an overdraft account today, so that directly reduces the debt. Going to be increasing it soon though sadly to pay for moving house costs.

Total so far paid off: £3298.55
