Made a small over payment to my credit card. Main payments come off at the end of the month but don't think I'll be able to manage much more than that with end Jan wage as my tax bill needs paid :(

I have joined the Gala bingo on quidco for £30 - only £10 deposit; we didnt win, but still £20 profit!!

Quidco is the best discvery I have made - since July we have claimed cashback of £950, and received £550 so far.
    Paying down the mortgage:
    At 1 October 2011: £226,000
    Currently: £224,499
    Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
    Paid £1,500
    Target remaining: 88.89%
  • Hi all.
Not making any overpayments until i see what my wages are this month. Ive got low living costs at the moment which is good!!!

Andan ive joined loads of bingo sites through quidco and other ones just for free money. Ive made quite a bit of money and made £50 on my account and my ohs account with bingohero. Check out (i think its) www.superfreebingo.com or .co.uk. That lists loads of sites and most you dont have to deposit but if you win you do have to deposit to get money back out. Becareful though a lot of them now realise that we set up bingo accounts for our ohs and some dont offer the free money to people who live in the same house.

  • Wow this is hard!!
I've paid loads ( for me ) off this month, it's been a real struggle. My RBS cards 0% runs out in march, so will need to apply for yet another card very soon & am trying to get the balance down as much as I can before I move it to cut down the balance transfer fee, which can really add up.
I'm hoping to clear everything by Xmas 2008, a bit of a stretch, by if my Hubby gets his tax rebate, it's possible.
Happy to be under £14,000 would be happier to be under £10,000!!
Well done to everyone else:T you're doing well
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

There'll be no more to report from me till next Friday when i finally get paid. However am quite pleased as i've made my money last longer than normal, as although i don't have any debt (have credit cards on 0% and the money in savings account to pay them off) its made me realise how much i frit away my money. Since joining this challenge i have been more conscious about turning lights off, only putting heating on when i really need to and about being ruthless with my belongings.

  • Morning everyone.

Haven't been around much recently as I've been busy at work and had a friend staying, so just been treading water really.

My totals are looking a bit sad at the moment, compared to everyone elses :embarasse . But, payday on Monday, so should be able to update my totals a bit. :j.

Have managed to go through my email and make a list of every survey site I've ever signed up to (and there were loads!) and now I know which ones to look out for. Was overwhelmed by the amount of emails before and just used to leave them until it was too late to do the survey.

This has had to have been the longest month ever!!!! but I can see some light at the end of the tunnel now and it's full steam ahead for February.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Polly
