Can I join too? I have £19769.67 over a loan and credit card. This will probably rise even closer to £20,000 over the Christmas period too. Would love to clear it in a year so I can start saving to move house and have a baby in a couple of years.

    Hi everyone and welcome.

It's great to have so many people on board. I can't really go missing from this challenge now, can I? :)

Right, I'm going to start with AQA. I've been with them for a while, but can't really get into a routine and make myself sit down and do it. I'd rather be on here, or entering competitions, or even clicking! So, I'm going to start looking on it as a 'proper job', work out what hours I'm going to work and then 'go to work'.

I'm also bringing work home from my full-time job in the evenings and weekends, so I'm going to invest some extra time in the run-up to Christmas catching up and getting organised, so hopefully I can keep work 'at work' and have more time for moneymaking/saving in the evening and weekend.

    Have a good evening everyone.

    Hi all,

My debt now stands at £16,934.86 and I would love to clear it all by Xmas 2008. At first I thought there is no way I could do this, but the more I think about it, the more I think I could do it with some hard work and determination. So count me in.

Good luck with the challenge everyone.

    Hi all and welcome.

liuhut - I don't see why you can't join us if it motivates you to save. Saving money and moving to Australia - I'm not jealous at all  .

Kizzy - I see we live in the same place. It's great here in La La land isn't it, until the dreaded "real world" intrudes. Want to meet for a coffee (with a voucher, of course). :rotfl:

    Hi

Have read through your thread and feel so much better as I feel that I'm not the only one who has so much to pay off and would like to do so as quickly as possible. I have just buried my head in the sand for so long and have gradually come to the sad relisation that I am not going to win the lottery/inherit loads of money/prince charming is going to come in and pay off all my debts! Would love to join your challenge as have about £26,000 to pay off and if I could do a bulk of that by this time next year it would be great.

Have seen some of the details about earning more money and you have all inspired me to go on to the extra income board and see what I can do.

    Thanks
