Buffy I hope you feel better soon.

Paid another bit off today, and amended my signature......on track more or less so far! Also got my cheque for the radio winnings today so will bank that as soon as I can, and when it clears after new year it will pay off another chunk :T

Keep going everyone, we are doing fantabulously!!

  • Morning everyone.

I'm off to stay with my parents until Boxing Day, so will have an enforced break from the computer.

Just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone, hope you all have a lovely time and try to have a good rest so we can hit the new year in full-on no-faffing mode.

Hi all. Really good to see everyone is doing so well.
My OH has done shed loads of overtime in the last month and I have managed to put £800 into the savings account. On the down side I have lost some hours from my job starting feb but this will mean I will have more time for money saving stuff, batch cooking etc and my comps!!!

Hooray! Finally been able to add something to my total for this challenge, although it's just the normal monthly payments - I haven't managed to pay anything extra at all this month but won't be too harsh on myself as it is the absolute worst month of the year!

So I've paid off £1,506. Got a few big expensese in Jan as well so unlikely to pay any more than the norm then but from Feb/March onwards I've got big plans to get things sorted out!

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas!

Happy Christmas Polly! I am sort of stuck with overpayments etc now as most people will be until the new year.

To anyone else who is having a few days off, have a fantastic Christmas and look forward to seeing all those challenge totals changing early in the new year!

  • Hi all
Great challenge! I had a big money saving push about a year ago and have lost momentum and been faffing ever since. I've got £3,500 of debt to pay off and plan to use the extra money generated for a deposit on a flat.

It's foggy outside so I'm at home and am going to put the time to use by:
    1-getting my credit report
2-setting up an ebay account and get listing
3-look into mystery shopping, AQA and other ways to generate more income
    4-doing a new budget planner

good luck everyone - looking forward to supporting eachother this year!

Made an overpayment and adjusted my figure accordingly. Set myself a budget for spending over the holidays but going to see if I can spend less and throw more at my debt! I won't be around over the holidays so I hope everyone has a lovely time!
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
