There's quite a few of us in for £10K, Buffy.
I'm due to have my first debt paid off by new year and I'm so excited about that, I really can't wait to cancel it off my payments list!Debt free in 2010

Hi everyone,
Just been speaking to our church leader and we are going to have a friend of his from South Africa staying in our house during January. The plan is that he'll pay us £55 a week.....I won't add it to my sig until I have the money, but it could be an extra couple of hundred pounds off my total if all goes according to plan...!!0 -
Got my bonus through. Its gone straight to my debt though the other payment to my nasty cc which is listed in my sig has still to clear so I haven't added that yet.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Hi everyone.
Nothing changed in my signature - waiting for payment to CCCS to hit the credit cards before I update, and for pay day to buy Christmas presents before I can pay anything else. This waiting is terrible - I want, I want, I want that total paid to go up!
On a more postive note, I've just finished selling some stuff on Ebay, and I'm not scared anymore! Been faffing with the idea since August, finally did it (thanks to this challenge), got the bug for it now and think I'll have nothing left in the house by March!

How are things selling on e bay pol??On a mission0 -
Grr had to temporarily increase my debt by paying the deposit for some ski accomodation on the credit card today. It will get paid straight off again once my radio winnings come in, though, so short term I hope.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Hi Laura
All my things sold for about the price I would have hoped for. I put on a couple of bath/bubble gift sets and some make-up I was never going to use, so I guess this is probably a good time to sell those.
Do you know how things tend to go on Ebay over Christmas/New Year? Is it worth listing now, or between Christmas and New Year?

Polly, I used to sell handmade jewellery on ebay and found Jan usually quite good, it's certainly worth list on ebay over the holidays. Always the Christmas cash to be spent. Add the fact that payday is the end of next week for many.
Glad you got the ebay bug. Sometimes it is a tedious chore all that listing, photo taking, ticking boxes etc, I find the packing and posting a pain. The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones. - Chinese Proverb

Thanks Jo
I'll definitely carry on listing over the holiday and try and get some things onto turbolister so it's easier when I go back to work. I'll make the most of this burst of enthusiasm while it lasts.
How are you doing?
