I think there are a few of us that have got "stuck" for various reasons......however.....give us a few weeks and we will be back with a vengence and those credit cards and loans won't know what has hit them!!!

That sounds like the voice of someone about to re-embark on a super-high-flying-mega-bucks-paying career!

My credit card doesn't know what's hit it already - poor old thing's been taken out of retirement and being worked rather hard at the moment.:o

    Morning all...
well done to everyone so far!!!...life is full of ups and downs and sometimes we seem to be going backwards and other months we chugg along nicely.
Don't forget fuel food gas and electric etc. have all greatly increased in price so that will take a chunk of our money we would've used for debt busting!!!..then we have unexpected stuff get in the way...I think that as long as the debt is down at the end of the year we are all winners.
Just updated as my £196.60 loan came out today.

Well said Taxi. It just seems to be money, money , money for us at the moment and not towards debt! The fuel thing is frightening and now they're saying garages are going to put their prices up even higher thanks to the fuel strike. At the moment I don't have much sympathy for the striking Grangemouth workers as at least from whats being printed they get a pretty good deal pension wise (i'm very prepared to eat humble pie on this one if someone who works there can explain what exactly is going on as the papers make it out to be a good scheme) and so its the rest of us poor mugs that have to suffer with higher (and scarce) fuel and sky high food prices (when most of us haven't had a wage rise in a long time and are on less beneficial pensions).

I'm waiting for money to come through from Paypal, does anyone know how long it takes?

    I'll update my totals later.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

Paypal normally takes 5-7 days :)

Unless its an eCheque and then it may take longer

Yes, was rather pleased to think that i would have some extra money to pay off towards the challenge at the end of this month, but realised i have just gone and stuck my car insurance on the credit card and my car tax is due next month. However, never one to be beaten, i will keep plodding away!

£464.64 paid off this month, less than last month because the mortgage payment went down a bit. So that makes £3,103.40 so far.
Two more low months then the real payments start!

Just checked my banking online and my isa has been set up so thats £97 from mystery shops etc gone in there straight away and have another £165 lined up to go in as soon as i get a chance to phone them up and get it transferred in there. My total has now leaped along so am feeling really pleased, as the sooner i get my isa filled up then the sooner i earn more interest which will be beneficial once my 0% credit card deal runs out. Its due to run out in the next few months but may try and switch it to another card instead.

I feel all motivated when i see things happening and moving forward, especially as things have been a bit stale for me recently. Well done to everyone else who has made payments. Gemmzie, thats not a bad amount for this month and your total is looking good.

Cheers everyone, Ejs, a lot of my money seems to come from mystery shopping and auditing work, don't know where i would be without it. I'm especially starting to do more auditing work as am starting to like it and you can get regular work from it.

Another £21 for me from mystery shopping paid into my account.
