Link here for setting up your account

Here’s what we need from you

To help us set up your account correctly , please click below to provide us with information we need. Without your Direct Debit details, you’ll have to pay for your energy by cash or cheque, which may work out more expensive for you. It’s quick, simple and secure.

    You will need:

    • Email address or Tonik account number
    • Up to date meter readings
    • Direct Debit details (if applicable)

Once entered, we’ll take care of everything.

  • I'm expecting fun & games with this changeover. I've never had an account in debit ever, always credit.
Throughout this ride with Tonik i have jumped from wildly in credit to debit back to credit and so on. £100s and £100s either way. My bill was £80pm, there's only 2 of us and nobody here before 6pm weekdays. The final bill was down as £150 debit which i can't agree with, though have no proof as to why it would be incorrect.

Scottish Power website now allows Tonik customers to enter details - email address, Tonik account no, meter readings etc
I don't download or print my Tonik Energy statements. I don't know my account number and need access to my account to get the info. Why can't we have access only to view our Tonik account. Paperless billing is terrific until....your energy provider goes bust.

If you cancel your direct debit you will get a email with your account number on and your current balance hope that helps

Thanks worrywart_3  I have that email.
I was a Tonik Energy customer until shortly before Scottish Power took over. Should I register my details on the Scottish Power system to make them aware of my existence or will I end up having two energy suppliers (nightmare) if I do that. If I don't register will I ever get my outstanding bills sorted and my credit balance refunded.
It seems we will not be given access to view our Tonik Energy accounts so I don't know how I'm going to agree a balance with the Administrator or whoever is going to sort out the Tonik customers disputed accounts. Am I the only idiot who has not printed or downloaded their energy bills. My two previous suppliers were Bristol Energy and EDF. Both billed regularly and correctly, and deducted the correct direct debit. They also refunded excess credit when asked and provided my final bill within a reasonable period. Those were the days!

  • Oh dear. I was with extra energy a couple of years ago when they folded and SP took over. It was a disaster. I'm surprised they've been allowed to take on Tonik after the hash they made.

How do you do this? I can only see a link on their site for Extra Energy customers.
  • I've not had an email from Tonik or SP. How can they expect to get accurate information. Must be thousands of Tonik customers who haven't got a clue that they've gone under.

i just got a qte from SP, its twice approx what I was paying with Tonik per month, so I won't be staying around too long, not surprised they went bust after the lack of website earlier this year, sadly I had not downloaded any bills lately... is that what everybody is doing to get the balance? cancelling the DD to Tonik?

    thanks
