if i buy a season ticket with an airline for 19 flights in year 19/20 and they state that they are unable to complete the last 5 or 6 flights I would want a refund. if my footbal club season ticket covers me for 19 home games ata minimum and i see only 14 or 15 then I want at least a refund pro rata from the club at minimum.
If a football club sold season tickets on the basis of a guaranteed minimum number of matches, without any force majeure clauses to protect it in the event of not being in a position to play them, then they would indeed be on the hook for refunds, and deservedly so.  Has anyone identified such a club?

In Leicester's T&C's: (no mention of a minimum number of matches)

A Season Ticket admits the bearer to occupy his/her seat indicated on the Season Ticket at the relevant Match consisting of The FA Premier League/English Football League First Team home league matches played by the Club at the Stadium for the 2019/20 season only. All other cup or friendly matches or any other matches in which the Club is involved in and/or participates in and/or any other events held at the Stadium are excluded from a Season Ticket, unless announced and/or communicated to you by the Club in advance.
    (My bold)
Is this saying, on the OP's argument, that the OP will be charged extra because they have been to countless friendlies without a ticket? :D

I wouldn't even like to guess how much an Arsenal season ticket costs!
Mine is £9,750 (less 8% discount for not being in the Champions League) which is a bad thing to admit on a money saving website !

Crikey! But that presumably includes hospitality etc?
Unlimited food, wine and an army of flunkies to service your every whim ?

Yep - includes every home game in every tournament, decent food and drink (spirits and champagne too) good seat etc.  It’s pretty informal too and nowhere near as corporate as some of the hospitality.   The bit I’m in (Avenell Club) is new and only opened this season: https://hospitality.arsenal.com/link/6747f215456744f4b0d72f93d3e30e3a.aspx

that looks pretty amazing; definately the way to watch football if you can afford it! I'll have to make do with a pint of foreign lager in a plastic glass and chicken balti pukka pie!

What my question is, is whether or not Sect 75 would cover purchase of a renewal season ticket for the 2020/2021 season. At the moment there is no guarantee that next season will start on schedule. Indeed, there’s no guarantee that it will take place at all.
I normally pay for my season ticket by monthly instalments using a finance company provided by my club. Going with that option for next season would tie me into a finance agreement and I’ve assumed that if no football was played next season, I’d still be contracted to pay the finance company the full amount and my club would have no liability to me if no games take place.
You do not need S75 if you paid via Credit card, or even used a Debit card to pay your club. It would be a simple chargeback, for non receipt of goods. Although I'm sure that clubs would have to do something to repay supporters, or defer season ticket till season after.
If you paid by finance then S75 would be against them. Given, I take it that you pay the finance via DD.
