Its definitely worth a claim to the club the cc company and then the FO. If the FO disagree with full refund then they will adjudicate what amount you receive. Its definately worth a cliam beyond pro rate cancellations and nothing to lose.0

In Leicester's T&C's: (no mention of a minimum number of matches)
A Season Ticket admits the bearer to occupy his/her seat indicated on the Season Ticket at the relevant Match consisting of The FA Premier League/English Football League First Team home league matches played by the Club at the Stadium for the 2019/20 season only. All other cup or friendly matches or any other matches in which the Club is involved in and/or participates in and/or any other events held at the Stadium are excluded from a Season Ticket, unless announced and/or communicated to you by the Club in advance.Search Results

City have confirmed that season tickets will remain valid if and when the fixtures are played. However, if they do not go ahead, or are played behind closed doors, fans can receive a cash refund, or can offset the value of the affected matches against the price of their season ticket for next season.i think that Arsenal say the season ticket covers the 19 premier league matches. i was unable to get into the arsenal website for some i unknown reason.0 -

My dilemma isn’t about the 19/20 season and whether or not it finishes. Yes, there may be a few missed games but hey-ho, I can live with that.
What my question is, is whether or not Sect 75 would cover purchase of a renewal season ticket for the 2020/2021 season. At the moment there is no guarantee that next season will start on schedule. Indeed, there’s no guarantee that it will take place at all.
I normally pay for my season ticket by monthly instalments using a finance company provided by my club. Going with that option for next season would tie me into a finance agreement and I’ve assumed that if no football was played next season, I’d still be contracted to pay the finance company the full amount and my club would have no liability to me if no games take place.
If I was to pay for next season’s ST in full by credit card instead, would I be eligible to claim under Sect 75 if no football is played, assuming of course my club doesn’t refund me beforehand. I appreciate that ultimately the club would be making the refund but tribal football loyalties aside, paying out a sum of circa £700 for 2 STs is a considered purchase and not one where you are expected to throw money at your club for the love if it, if no end product (home league matches) is provided.
Look forward to hearing any thoughts or advice on the Sect 75 aspect and not so much on whether I should change football club allegiance. ;-)

No matter how much you love you club, not many people are going to throw money at all with nothing at all in return so I see the dilemma.
Which team by the way?0 -
mr_stripey said:interesting; I guess the addition of a third party (the finance company) makes it more complicated.

Its the paying the cost by credit card that I’m querying. Would that be covered by Sect 75 in the event I decided to make a last resort claim to be refunded?
My team btw is Hibs (Hibernian).
Supported them man and boy, through thick and thin. Mostly thin!! LOL.1 -
Purchases using a finance company can also be covered by section 75 if it's a point of sale loan
