Welcome back GTQ. Sorry for your loss, such a sad time especially with not being able to go to the funeral but as you say it was live streamed so at least it felt like you were able to say goodbye.
You've done really well maintaining over such a hectic time. You know what you're doing so you'll soon lose whatever the gain is.
Ruby I've found the only place I can get the Rosemary and Red Onion sausages is Tesco, although others have told me that Asda do them as well but not keen on shopping there (our local one never seems to be very clean and it really puts me off!). Haven't done much shopping in Tesco since lockdown - only twice so far - as the queues are always so long. I did pick up a couple of boxes last week when I was in there as wanted some to make scotch eggs and I prefer to use those to keep them Free (as well as the fact I actually like the taste of them!).
It's not going to take long for you to lose that last 5.5lb Orange. Although the last half stone always seems to take the longest!

Be kind to yourself ruby. Work isn't normal for anyone at the moment and you've had more change to deal with than many. At least you have your SW plan to focus on. I think it's helped me through lockdown to have that structure of meal planning, meal times, shopping etc. I know what you mean about nostalgia, that's why I was dreaming of the courgette fritters yesterday.
Not sure what the weather's doing here. Yesterday it was meant to rain but it didn't happen. It's hot but overcast and could thunder later. Who knows?I didn't enjoy the leek &chicken bake as much last night. The chicken was a bit tasteless and chewy, maybe I could have diced it a bit smaller or used some thigh as well as breast. Perhaps it will have marinated overnight and the LOs will taste better.
Hope the KFC goes well denise. I find 1 beaten egg and 6 tbsps. of potato powder is enough for 4 thighs. I'd certainly use up 1 egg first and see if it's enough.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- LO chicken bake (P,S,F), with pickled cabbage (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S) with brown rice (F) and cottage cheese (P)

Thanks maman will try that amount to start with! Our weather's a bit like that as well although we have had some thunder but no rain yet but wouldn't be surprised if we do get some. In some ways I hope we do as it will save me watering the pots!
Had a change of plan at lunchtime - the soup was horrible!!!! DH ended up with a cheese & gherkin sandwich and I had a bowl of grapes & strawberries with some quark!
Going to enjoy the KFC tonight, looking forward to trying them with the instant mash/herbs rather than breadcrumbs.

So sorry to hear about your loss Gettingtherequickly I can't imagine how difficult it is to try to go through the grieving process in these times. But at least you finally manage to have some of your cake; you'll have to share the recipe!
Thanks denise, I tried going to Tesco once right at the beginning of all this when they started the NHS hour on Sundays and it was a nightmare. Have stuck to usual Sainsbury's since then but keep thinking that I should go back to Aldi / Lidl just to try and keep the costs down a bit more.
Thanks maman, my manager again told me to take it easy and they aren't really expecting me to deliver much till August so it was good to take the pressure off there for the time being. Although he has just put a meeting in my diary for Monday to talk through my plan so best get something down on paper!
Was really happy with my lunch today; it both looked and tasted amazing and I could eat it all over again now, but have included a picture for you all (there are peppers and beansprouts under the egg).

Sorry for your loss GTW. Somehow I missed your post earlier. If you do have the expected sudden gain it should go quickly too. 😁
Sadly it is hard to lose the last few pounds orange. I checked back and it took me almost 3 months for the last half stone but, in my defence, I did have a holiday in there. 😉
Your lunch looks really fresh ruby. I've bought the sausages in Sainsburys but I think stock is poor there at the moment. They've not had grapefruit squash for weeks. I think lots of manufacturers are limiting their lines to keep up with demand. I was reading today that the reason flour has been in short supply is that only 12 mills in the country package in small bags, (the others do sacks for commercial use) so they couldn't keep up with home baking.
I add plenty of spices to KFC too denise. I do garlic granules, paprika and chilli powder, salt and pepper and also a pinch each of tarragon and coriander leaves but that's because I want to use them up. 😁0 -
Thank you both for the seasoning you use. I'll be sure to add plenty! Will let you know tomorrow whether we enjoy it as much as with breadcrumbs!
