    OMG Oranges 10k??!! That's amazing!
WI day and whatdya know I've gained 0.5lb this week. No run this morning as didn't get up until 9.30am and it's too warm already. I usually go at 6.30-7am when it's cooler. In total last week I ran 16k.
Feeling low today - scenes from London yesterday just make me really angry and disgusted. Just so depressing.
Will need to shop for food today as fruit bowl only has a single apple left. We are planning a roast for dinner later but when I went to Aldi on Tuesday for weekly shop they only had whole chickens and we had chicken last Sunday. Thinking maybe lamb or beef if it's a reasonable price..... I have carrots, parsnips, potatoes already, so will also get some green veg.
I'll do some housework today - hoover round/dusting, and some of the pots in the garden are in need of attention. DH is planning to cut the lawn too. Will also need to put a wash on. Hoping to keep moving and stop thinking about stuff I cannot change.
Lunch will be omelette using up leftover tinned potatoes and peppers from raclette.
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy xx

Wow orange ! 10K! All I've done this morning is read the paper!

Sorry about your little gain coxy. I'll keep a closer eye on your menus this week to see if I can find something. Do make sure you eat plenty as not eating enough can make your body hang on to fat. And be sure to have your third of Speed. I try for closer to half as I rarely have any at breakfast time. IMO veg is better than fruit as most veg has less sugar. It might help to keep a running total of syns too. Some of us work on a 'syn bank' which has 105 in it after WI then we subtract from there. They're just thoughts but worth a try. :s:smile:

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, strawberries (S)
L- veggie omelette (P,S) with pickles (S) and ham (P)
D- JO roast pork (P) with new potatoes (F), carrots, swede, various greens, cauli, red cabbage (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4? weekend wine

I'm never sure how many to estimate for HM gravy. It has a tbsp of cornflour (1) but I'm sure there's fat in the meat juices. The Jamie Oliver recipe is cooked on a trivet of vegetables too. They're supposed to be part of the gravy but I always end up eating them (cook's perks  ). It's this recipe but it doesn't take so long with boneless joint.

Thats annoying TIE. DD has same thing at work. No staff room so no lockers to leave their stuff. She has to eat her packed lunch in the car!
Went to Tesco. They wanted £27 for a leg of lamb. I’m too tight to pay that so instead got a lovely pork loin joint which is currently smelling lush. Also got broccoli to go with carrots and parsnips. Replenished the fruit bowl as had to bin 4 of the 8 satsumas bought on Tuesday as they had gone to mush.
    Have a good evening all.

My pork is smelling lush too coxy. It's a popular choice today. 🙂

Make sure you have plenty of broccoli and carrots. That's the Speed part. 🙂🥦🥕
Do think of yourself tie. I think the point of having 2 adults in a bubble class is so that you can stagger breaks. You really should take a proper lunch break. 😊

Another who's pork is smelling lush too!  Have picked our first peas from the garden to have tonight too - there's only a few so just a taste but really looking forward to them!  Haven't had fresh peas for years, probably since I last grew them about 30 years ago, LOL!  Only growing them in a pot so not really expecting to get very many but there'll be another few pickings as the pods fill out.  Having Brussels & green beans as well but they're from the freezer.

Agree with maman TIE, you really need to have a proper lunch break.  You can't be expected to work without a rest at some stage during the day.

That takes me back denise. When I was a child, it was my job on a Sunday morning to shell the peas for Sunday lunch. IIRC quite a few made it into my mouth. 😉😁
That was in the summer, in the winter we had dried peas that my nana used to soak overnight. Similar to mushy peas but not quite.
