One of our very few 'deviations' during lockdown has been DD1 bringing us shopping even though we're doing our own. Basically, she's brought us stuff we can't get in Aldi and it's had the added bonus of a weekly chat with her and DGD from the end of the drive. She's been shopping for an isolated neighbour as well and, for a break from her front line job, she's been to various supermarkets each week. There are a couple of wines I like from Aldi but DD1 has been buying wine supplies like Merlot for DH. 😁 It's been a novelty to have bottles of wine left on the doorstep when, in the past it would have been milk. 🤣

Absolutely!  We've been doing our own shopping too.  Think I'd have gone up the wall if I hadn't been able to get out at all!  I'm getting stir crazy not being able to go away in the motorhome.

Morning all, another nice day so am taking the opportunity to get another load of washing done.  There's a little wind so hopefully shouldn't take too long to dry.

Absolutely hate the new website so will avoid apart from looking up syns of anything I'm not sure about, or to help people on here who don't have access.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausages; egg; beans; tomatoes; mushrooms - P; S; F; 2
    L - greek salad - salad leaves; cucumber; tomatoes; feta; black olives - S; HEA2; 1.5
D - roast pork; roast potatoes; roast onions; roast peppers; green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - feta
    HEB - not planned
Syns - sausages 2; olives 1.5; couple of rum & ginger beer 5 (need to pull back a few syns as went over a few yesterday)

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all 🤗
Bad, bad week with plus 3lb 🥺, my own fault, homemade fruit bread 🤤 plus hummus gate & pizza. This week has been so cold at work as we have doors and windows open 😳. I also seem to be outside ALOT whatever the weather 😤. Teacher I work with always seems to have ‘important’ jobs to do 🙄. Haven’t worked out what to take for lunch as I eat with the kids so not near the microwave. Been taking a roll which hasn’t helped.
On the up side Jeans I bought a few weeks ago that were snug are now so comfortable, I bought another pair on Wednesday.
Not been on bike during week as walking dogs straight from work wipes me out, been in bed by 9 every night 😴 bike today though 🤗

Have a good weekend all 🥰
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Think it's probably quite difficult when you are borderline like that.  If you're only 1/4 lb under 16 stone that would probably show as 16 stone on SW scales anyway!  They only work in 1/2lbs!

I wouldn't worry too much about having had 20 a day this week.  Just reduce it to 15 this week and going forwards and hopefully you'll getting better losses.

Bought a couple of cheap bottles of wine in Lidl today and have opened one tonight.  It's one of their offers reduced from £4.65 (I think) to £2.99.  Have to say I'm not that impressed.  Just glad I didn't pay over £4 for it!  It's a Merlot which is one of my favourite variety's of wine.

I bought a couple bottles of low alcohol / alcohol free rose wine and actually it isn't bad so will buy again.  It's lower in syns too.

FE I've tried the low alcohol wines and really don't like them, might just as well drink lemonade!  It would be just as enjoyable.

TIE - so sorry to hear you are struggling.  It seems very unfair if you are doing all the outside stuff, no way should you be so cold when you're working.

No idea what I was thinking when I did my plan for today!  The breakfast and lunch are right but dinner is actually chilli & rice!  I was probably still thinking about the fact that I'd got a roast pork joint out of the freezer for dinner tomorrow, LOL!

Just been given some tinned chickpeas and bags of porridge & rice from a friend who got them in her food box but doesn't eat them!  I love free food and even better that they fit with SW!

I know it's not easy orange as we can't just pop to the shops at the moment (without queueing) but you can eat plenty provided you've got the right things in. It really is worth planning for SW friendly snacking as well as meals when you feel hungry. I know I'd soon feel hungry if I just had 2 rice cakes for breakfast. You could  make yourself a frittata (easier than quiche because it's on the hob) and put that in the fridge to snack on?
P.S. I'm sure you're aware but peas are only Free food not Speed.

Shame about your gain tie. Hopefully the weather will improve soon and, at least, you won't feel cold. It's a bit unfair of the teacher expecting you to do all the outdoor stuff. Why not try pasta salad or similar for your lunches? Or keep your HEB so you can have a roll/sandwich? Or both?

We're going to have a spring roll with our dinner tonight to make it a bit more special. I think they're 5 syns each and we'll have some sweet chilli sauce too, I need to look that up, but I think it's 1.5 syns per tbsp. I'll allow 8 syns to be sure. Oh and then there's honey in the stir fry. Not as healthy a dinner as I anticipated.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F) with cottage cheese (P), spring onions and pickled cabbage (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P,S) with noodles and SW chips (F)
Syns- honey 2.5, spring roll and chilli sauce 8, weekend wine :
