    I signed up again for 3 months which I said I wouldn't do but having done so, I'm excited about the fresh start.  the website is a big thumbs down.  it could be so much better.
    I don't get it. The dark side (WW) offers an app where you can scan food products and  you can sync your fitness device amongst other things I can't remember. Ok the plan they offer is different but their monthly online plan is £13.95 compared to a monthly fee of £20 for SW although you can pay upfront for a year at £140.

    I trust SW, it's worked for me in the past and I could sing its praises from the rooftops but their website just makes me sad.

    That's interesting FE. You'd have thought that SW would have had a good look at the competition and come up with something even better. 🤔

    4 syns isn't that bad maz. It could have been so much worse. 😉

    Morning all, well done on the loss denise and you're right bubbs that health is more important.  Wish I'd taken my own advice and left my last job sooner!

    I had heard that the new app is a lot better with tracking things but agree, if something free like My Fitness Pal can have scanning software that works then why can't SW.  If they want to offer me a job to get it up and running I'd be happy to take it on!

    Managed to stick to plan yesterday and do a kickboxing workout (my shoulders feel rather sore today!)  Switching back to working from home hasn't been easy but I'm not going to beat myself up too much over it and take my managers advice and take it easy for the rest of today.  Just do some research and planning and next week is a new week!

    Plan food wise is:

    B - Porridge (HEB and part HEA of skimmed milk), golden syrup (2 syns)
    L - HM Chicken and Vegetable soup (chicken, carrots, onion, peas, barley)
    D - Fishcake (6 syns), SW chips, salad (leaves, beetroot, gherkins)
    S - cups of tea / coffee with the rest of my HEA of milk, clementines

    Plus another 30 minute workout which I think is some kind of HIIT on the plan for today.  Hope everyone is doing ok, it's rather windy here and we're due for a thunderstorm this afternoon  :#
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000

  • Morning all! I posted yesterday but the gremlins swallowed it. Well done JoeDenise and for the running Coxy

    It's looking very grey and dreary today. I'm not working but do need to pop into the office to grab something. Otherwise it's homeschooling (bleughh) and housework. It it stays dry then I've got a couple of plants to pop in the ground. The school give out craft/activity boxes every Friday so I'll get the kids to cycle/walk up there this afternoon to collect. There's often a packet of sweets in the box so they're bribed motivated to go.

    WI today and 4lb off! I reached my mini goal of my second 10%, so I'm happy even though I'm still in the red zone. I've set my next goal for the yellow - 13lb to go. Although I've got an even smaller mini target of 3lb to get into the next stone bracket, which I haven't been since pre-kids (youngest is 7!)

    B - Scrambled eggs with ham, beans, mushrooms & 1/2 grapefruit (celebratory weekly cooked breakfast :) (and feeling very stuffed!)
    L- Salad or veg soup, haven't decided yet.
    D - Not a clue yet! Possibly some leftover SW pulled pork from the freezer + speed veg
    HEXA - milk for tea/latte  HEXB - not sure yet. Maybe some sunflower seeds with lunch
    Syns: Wine (of course!)
