I love Bolognese too and I love it even more since I can have that extra HEA of Parmesan on top without synning it. 😁
I'm another that's greedy. I'd have made a mixture of green veg instead of just those beans like broccoli, mange tout, asparagus.....and there's always beetroot! 😁

Morning all, wet and miserable here today.  Glad I got the bulk of the washing done yesterday.  Nice to have a nearly empty washing basket!

    Today's plan:

    B - egg, mushrooms & beans - P; S; F
    L - HM liver parfait, onion relish, toast - HEB; P; S; 2.5
    D - pork steak, roast potatoes, cauliflower, green beans, peas - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - 25ml half fat creme fraische 2.5; not sure what else but still have syns spare if I want anything else

Hi everyone!  Hope you've all been doing ok over the last few weeks.  I have returned from my redeployment after 7 crazy weeks and have to say I'd rather be back there to be honest!  Was crazy busy but we got through it together and experienced some truly remarkable things and so proud of all my NHS colleagues.

From a weight loss point of view, I've been bouncing around and not really focused on my eating too much (been taking advantage of the free food!) but have managed to stick to an exercise regime and I'm now halfway through week 5 of my program and loving it.  I can see changes in my body where I'm toning and getting more flexible and my stamina is definitely improved; I even managed to climb the stairs from the ground to the 15th floor of the main hospital building everyday in my last week there without stopping and then all the way back down again.  Now I just need to get my eating under control which I am determined to do from today, although all I want to do is eat lots of toast and the mini magnums in the freezer!

B - Branflakes (HEB), skimmed milk (part HEA), pineapple fingers
L - HM chicken and veg soup (chicken, carrots, onion, peas, stock, mustard powder)
D - Carbonara (spaghetti, bacon medallions, eggs, parmesan (HEA)), salad leaves, tomatoes
S - popcorn (3.5 syns), cups of tea with rest of second HEA

Welcome back ruby.  Well done on sticking with the exercise even if the food choices haven't been brilliant.  Can't say I blame you taking advantage of free food, think most people would!

Have you got things you can pick at if the munchies takeover?  If you want one of the mini Magnums no reason not to it would be well within your syns.

Thanks denise.  Not really and I think that's part of the problem...I've given in to temptation and had a magnum and also three slices of bread and butter.  It's not that I'm hungry particularly, I'm just supplementing my boredom (our servers are currently offline so I can't actually do any work) with just eating.  It's just a blip and I need to focus more.  Was going to go for a walk but it's started raining now!

Good to see you back ruby. 🙂

Today I should have been flying off for 3 weeks in the sun but instead it's the dullest, greyest day we've had in months. ☹️ But I'm sure I'll cheer up soon. 😁

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- JP (F) ham, cottage cheese (P), spring onions and beetroot (S)
    D - chicken casserole (P, S) with new potatoes (F), various vegetables (S)
    Syns - HP sauce 1, cornflour 1
