That's a really nice thing for the consultant to do.  Hope you get some good ideas from the magazines.  The May/June one had some really good recipes in it - I used several of those.  There aren't any I'll use in this months which we got digitally.  Really don't like it like that though.  Much prefer a physical copy!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese on toast - HEA; HEB + 2; P; F
L - use up fridge stuff! - hard boiled egg, LO boiled new potatoes, mixed leaves, cucumber, LO sweet chilli noodles, spring onions (and anything else I can find!)
D - marinaded seared tuna steak, horseradish mash with spring onions, green bean, peas - P; S; F; 0.5 syn

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - 2 slices WM bread (800g) - HEB + 2
Syns - extra bread 2; tsp creamed horseradish 0.5

My consultant has just posted on our Facebook page that we will be moving onto the new website and app next Thursday at 9am!  Those of you who already have it is it better than the current website and app?

How strange. I'd have assumed it was a national thing. In my case, when I tried to access the 'old' website on my desktop, it took me to the new one (via a verification process/password etc). Then when I tried my phone it recognised that I'd already migrated and took me to the new app. It's early days but firstly the app and website now seem exactly the same to navigate whereas they weren't previously. I can't find syns online. Normally I just go straight to that (previously easier on the app through a simple menu). I suspect that the only way may be to 'pretend' to do a food diary which I've never bothered with. Hopefully, they'll be better at responding to glitches than mse has been. They'll be under more pressure with people paying for the privilege, unlike mse.

Very well done on your 4 pound loss CTWD! :  Personally, I'd have soup and salad for lunch. Soup on its own is rarely enough. :

Weekly trip to Aldi today. Highlight of my week. :   DD1 is back at school full time with her 'bubble' this week but she plans to go to Sainsbury's at some point so she'll get me things that Aldi doesn't sell.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- lentil and veg soup (P,S), sardines (P) and pickles (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, sugar snaps (S)
Syns- weekend wine :  :

My consultant did say it would be a gradual changeover when she first mentioned it so I'm not surprised it wasn't nationwide.  I know that all new members went straight onto the new versions.

No sweet chilli noodles with lunch - DH ate them just before lunch while I was on the phone to my sister, grrr!  Plate looked a bit sparse without them!  Had some fruit and yoghurt after to fill up a bit more.

Had wine last night so won't be drinking tonight!  As usual over on syns - I always seem to be when I have wine!

    CTWD that's an amazing loss!

That's not right!  You only have to send your weight every 8 weeks!  That's what I'm doing - think I done after 6 weeks last time, not need to do it again until 16 July, that's when the 8 weeks are up from the last time I submitted weight.

I'll check the App and website bubbs and see if I can make sense of it. I think I'm now permanently logged in to both of them through favourites but I could be wrong??
ETA: Just checked on the website and Food Search is probably the closest thing, although it's not very user friendly.. Any idea where I'll find the syns calculator?

My consultant told me she'll keep putting my last recorded weight in until classes restart. I don't do the Zoom meetings and I haven't heard from her since, so unless the website access stops then I'll just carry on.

My shop was easy this afternoon. No queue at Aldi so, as I had the time, I queued for Home Bargains as it's close by. I stocked up on jars of beetroot and pickled cabbage and a few tins, like tinned tomatoes. I suspect that prices will go up soon so I'm trying to get my storecupboard  full again.

I've been happily using 'Smash' for the KFC. I can't remember what it was that people used to use it for when I started but it was popular. I did see a recipe using couscous instead:
    https://fatgirlskinny.net/syn-free-kfc-style-chicken-fakeaway-slimming-world-recipe/
I wonder what that would be like?
