Thanks for the heads up bubbs. I'm not a regular Tesco shopper myself but I still remember when they changed the pulled pork recipe and it shot up in syns. I think it went from free to about 13 syns!!! Fortunately, still many other lamb shanks available in other supermarkets at fairly low syn. Has anyone tried any of them?

It's dry and bright here and about 18 degrees so hoping to get out for a bit. Hope you have a nice afternoon with your DD denise.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), bacon, fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
L- ham (P), fried veg and  pickles (S)
D- roast beef (P), SW roast potatoes (F), carrots, swede, red cabbage, cauli, various green stuff (S)
Syns- HP sauce 1, horseradish 1, gravy 4? weekend wine

Dull and damp here, it did brighten up and i hung a white wash out , but you gueesed it , it peeded it down 😂 so i left it there, actually i only hung the tablecloth and 4 pairs white jeans/trousers out. I put the other on the airier and it did brighten up for a little while but just came over rather black so been and got it in and it's half dry so on the airier now.

No i have not tried the lamb shanks but i know alot of people at my group like them

We seem to have the best of the weather here. It's stayed fine all day. We managed a short walk (just under 5000 steps) but it was good to get out. 🙂

Glad your lunch went well denise. 🙂

If you like gnocchi coxy, I noticed that Asda seems the lowest in syns. You get half a chilled pack (250g) for 3 syns. Well done on your loss. 👏👏👏

  • Well done Coxy!

Weather here isn't too bad so I braved the washing - so far so good.

We had a terrible day yesterday (for reasons that don't belong on here) and it was only when I went to bed that I realised I hadn't eaten any dinner. I'm not sure if that's a minor victory because I didn't turn to comfort eating, or bad that I didn't eat sensibly! But no extra syns so can't be too bad. :D Anyway, an early morning long walk to clear my head and onwards and upwards!

    B - Skyr, strawberries, blueberries, 1/2 grapefruit.
L - Ham salad, celeriac coleslaw made with yoghurt & lemon juice. A new recipe and it was yummy!

D - Some kind of stirfry to use up some beansprouts. Probably with either quorn or prawns. Possibly with egg fried rice, depending on (a) how hungry I am and (b) whether I can be bothered.

HEXA - Milk for small latte and tea

HEXB - Probably some almonds to take on a walk.

Syns: Caramel Freddo - 4.5. Wine later, probably.

That's what we often call a NSV CTWD. A Non Scale Victory because you didn't turn to comfort eating. Well done. 🙂
We're just on the edge of Southampton bubbs. All my washing dried. 😁

I managed to get my washing dry yesterday morning.  I hung it out before I went to my friends and when we got back it was dry.  Pleased about that.  Could have done the same again this morning but didn't really want washing hanging in the line while DD was here as if the wind gets up it's likely to swish against the people sitting at one end of the table, LOL!

Loving all the photos - was that a crustless quiche or tortilla? Thank you bubbs for the gnocchi info. We only have it once in a blue moon, but good to know syn value.
Didn’t have any lunch in the end as neighbour kept me talking until 3.30pm. I had to rush to Tesco for skimmed milk and got myself a snack pack of sushi (4 pieces). Think that’s 1 syn?
Roast just being dished up - good job as I’m famished!!
    Have a good evening all
