Are you saving syns? Those of us that post very low syn menus every day are doing it because we (unofficially) save them for weekends.
Strange about the STS, orange. It has to be the exercise.
Exercise definitely has its positive points like general well being, suppleness etc but it's the right food and drink that matters most. So, do keep up with the exercise and don't let it make you disheartened about sticking to plan. Keep plodding!
I'll portion up the red cabbage for the freezer later. I think I'll batch cook the swede & carrot mash today as I'm finding carrots aren't keeping well at the moment.
For those of you that wanted a recipe. These are the suggested quantities for the fake KFC:
https://basementbakehouse.com/2016/01/homemade-kfc-chicken/
Personally I find 6 tbsps of 'Smash' and 1 egg is enough. Following advice on here I've been using thighs instead of chicken breasts. The recipe is more than enough for 4 thighs.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs (P)
L- ham (P). fried potato (F), fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P,S) with noodles (F)
Syns- honey in stir fry sauce 2.5, HP sauce 1

Emz low fat natural yoghurts are 0.5 Syn per 100g so not too bad.
When I do the fake KFC I usually use my HEB as breadcrumbs because I don't buy instant mash (which incidentally is supposed to be Synned @ 1.5 per Tbs) although most people don't bother. There is a recipe for Chicken nuggets which just uses herby breadcrumbs which is more or less the same as the Fakeaway KFC.

Thanks Joedenise and maman. Yup, I will keep plodding and stick to the plan. I know it works and fingers crossed for a bigger loss next week.
I'm craving chicken with all this chat!2 -

I wrote a big post last night and lost it!
Thank you for welcoming me and calling me emz is fine! Yesterday i had 7 syns - 2 for milk as ended up having heax with dinner and the milk was only in 4 cups of tea so massively overestimated, 2 for sugar in the morning and 3 for a pink gin (i think its either 3 or 4 syns but i only had 1 anyway) i added quite a lot of speed to my dinner, peppers mushrooms and 1/3 plate of salad too so i did quite well!
Bubbs that chicken looks amazing i am going to try it next week, could i also have the recipe for the scotch eggs they looks lovely...were they hard to make i am not the biggest culinary expert about!
I think my meal plan for today
B. Ski yoghurt with strawberries and banana, an apple after for speed
L. Cheese on toast with an orange
Snacks.carrot sticks they are my new favourite
D. Meatballs, pasta and pasta sauce (i use a jar for the sauce as tbh any of the ones i have made hasnt been nice and i use the smallest amount so 3 syns as its about 1/4 of the jar) will load it up with mushrooms and peppers and have a small side salad with it for extra speed!
Weigh in today as i started last Monday hoping for a loss but we shall see after my bad Friday...i shall report back!
I use 5% pork mince blitzed smooth with garlic granules and mixed herbs, use what you want but needs to be seasoned otherwise too bland, boil the eggs, shell, roll the meat around, 1 pack of pork mince makes 5, i then roll mine in couscous flavoured with paprika. I did in the acti fry yesterday but usually do them in the oven on the grill pan, spray with frylight and bake.
Some people use LM red onion sausages but i don't like scotch eggs done like that
Afternoon all

I'm one who makes the scotch eggs with Linda McCartney Red Onion sausages! I don't usually bother with anything on the outside unless I've got an HEB spare! But I'm quite happy to have them without.
Been to the butchers this morning as needed eggs and while I was there I bought some more sausages as I just have a few in the fridge for a sarnie for lunch tomorrow! and none in the freezer. Also asked if he had any of the 5Kg packs of chicken thighs and luckily they'd just come in this morning so bought those too so should be enough for the next few months - plenty of Fakeaway KFC, curries, tagines etc.

Arghh - big struggles today! My mum came to the garden (first time since lockdown) for home made afternoon tea after a baking morning with the kids. Homemade bread, iced buns, Victoria sponge, scones, brownies, coffee & walnut cake! I sat there dutifully with some ham, pickles and satsuma. It was so hot that not much got eaten, so even though I packed her off with doggy bags, there is still lots left. I was fine until I started clearing up and suddenly got really big cravings for the iced buns! I know if I even had a small one it could easily start off a binge. So far I've resisted, but need to go out for a walk to take my mind off them!
Otherwise:
B - Skyr, strawberries, blueberries, 1/2 grapefruti
L - Green salad, pastrami, pickles (gherkins, red cabbage, pickled onions, mushrooms), Quavers (4.5)
D - Ham, pickles, satsuma.
HEXA - Milk for latte, HEXB - prunes.
Syns: 4.5 so far, probably that Adnams 0.5% beer (6 - thanks Bubbs or a Caramel Freddo (4.5). Or maybe nothing, just a nice cup of tea.
