Morning all, another lovely day. Load of washing on and will get in out on the line shortly. It's great being able to dry the washing on the line for the last few weeks, long way it last but saying that we could certainly do with some rain for the garden and to top up the water butts - but please come overnight, LOL!
Finished yesterday on 10 Syns so another day on plan! Today's plan (a lazy one today!)
B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes & beans, slice bread - P; S; F; 0.5 HEB
L - tinned beef bourguignon, mash; slice bread - F; 0.5 HEB; 2
D - toad in the hole; roast potatoes, roasted carrots, peppers, onions, green veg - S; F; P; 6.5
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - tinned bourguignon 2; sausages 2; flour 4.5; nothing else planned

Morning all
Yes it's hot here already and we certainly need rain but the thing is when it comes it will belt it down and cause floods because the ground is so hard😥
I tried digging some yesterday but it's like a brick!! so left that bit but really needs all digging out and some top soil putting on as it's very stony.
Pollen must be high this morning i am sitting here sneezing like a good un!!
We have chicken today, was going to do some scotch eggs for salad but it might be too hot for the oven to go oni may just cook the chicken in the pressure cooker.

Morning everybody,
WI today and I STSDid a 3k run then some stretching and squats then weighed in. I'm not very happy as you can imagine, as I stuck to plan all week bar last night when I had a piece of syn-busting cheesecake after my bbq meal. I also ran a total of 23k last week which is my most ever. So in true sulky style I have just eaten a croissant for breakfast
Anyway, onwards and upwards. Today I plan to do some gardening and the rest of the day's food looks like this:
L - mushroom omelette, salad (P, S, F)
D - Haddock and Prawn Gratin - hairy dieters recipe. Will have it with brocolli and green beans (HEB, P, S)
Snacks - apple, banana, satsuma, blueberries
Some syns in the gratin I expect as it contains cornflour and a little wine.
Hope you all have a good day in the sunshine.
Coxy xx
ETA thank you Maman for the curry details

Hello
Can i please join your thread? I have done sw before and lost 1.5stones for a holiday but now i am back with even more weight on. I started Monday and i had a bad day friday (not being prepared enough) and yest i went over my syns with alcohol so today i am back on plan 100%.
I have been reading your posts all week and it has helped with some new ideas of what to use my hea and hebs on!
Todays plan:
B. Sky yoghurt with strawberries and grapes. F. S(i think for the strawberry)
L.Cheese on toast with a banana Hea, heb,f
Snack. Carrot sticks
D. Chicken but not sure with what yet!
I think thats a decent looking day will use second lot of milk in tea.....i drink a lot of tea and sf squash!1 -
Coxy a Maintain is much better than a gain! No need to beat yourself up! Stick with it and and the weight loss will happen. I know it's frustrating when you've stuck to plan. Look what happened to me last week - Only used 1.5 syns more for the week than we are allowed and put on 1.5lb! This week lost most of it. I think being at target it can sometimes be more difficult shifting the weight but it goes on easily enough even without realising. I've gone back to basics this week and am trying to use my syns daily rather than over the week like I usually do as I'd really like to be at bottom end by the time we are able to travel, whenever that might be but hopefully before the end of the summer!!!
Welcome Emzmom, of course you can join the thread. Everyone who is doing SW is welcome whether a group member, online member or going it alone. Although to be fair even RL members are sort of going it alone with support from our facebook groups!
Try and make sure you have plenty of Speed veg with your dinner tonight so that you have at least a third over the day. As you've done SW in the past I assume you're using Frylight rather than oil. I'm with you on the drinking lots of tea! I drink quite a lot of coffee in the morning too but I don't need milk for that as I prefer my coffee black.

Well i have decided i am going to do scotch eggs in the actifry, don't know how they will work out but will let you knowSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:1 -
Coxy Don't feel bad - that's an amazing amount of exercise, you should feel very proud!
I managed 16000 steps last night with a long evening walk. It definitely helps me going out on my own in the evenings so I'm going to stick with that, even if it's 10-11 at night. I'm also going to start some light resistance training 3 times a week - starting with my arms and tummy. Although my youngest is now 7, I still have that muscle separation (because I never did anything about it post-partum) and have been reading that I shouldn't be doing crunches/planks until I've sorted it. I've realised I have very little core strength so will take a few weeks focussing on that.
This morning I did a short YouTube workout, only 15 minute beginners cardio but its enough to feel suitably out of breath and taken the dog for a woodland stroll. Eldest son wants a bike ride so we'll be going round the flat lake later when it's cooler and then my long walk tonight.
Food for today:
B - Skyr, raspberries and HEXA for latte. Too full for grapefruit.
Mid morning snack - HEXB - almonds.
L: Left over soup (speed, ham, lentils)
D - Left over curry (didn't fancy it last night) with cauliflower rice. I might make some free bhajis because I'm making a different curry and naan breads for the others. I bit of a Sunday night feast.
Syns: I found a 0.5% Adnams Ghost Ship ale, and got very excited, but then realised it was probably 7-8 syns. I think I'd rather have a glass of wine for the same.

You lot make me tired reading all the exercise you do 🤣🤣🤣
The ale is 6 syns for 500ml bottleSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Another 3.5 syns to add for butter on my bread at lunchtime! Wasn't going to bother with it as there was gravy to mop up but it was so dry (last slice in the bag!) it really needed it. At least it's still within my syns. Now up to 12 for today so still a few if I want something else later but can't see me needing anything.
