Lovely dog TIE. Good luck with returning to work next week.Β
I did a shorter run today (3k). Food today:
    B - Weetabix, skimmed milk (HEB/HEA)
L - pineapple cottage cheese, large salad (F)
D - chicken paella (F) from the 50 golden greats cookbook. Didn’t have artichokes (surprisingly) and added some mussels to increase the protein for DS1. No photo as forgot!
Snacks - Apple, satsuma, banana, grapes
    No syns so far.Β

    Have a good evening all
    Coxy xx

I think your cottage cheese counts as protein too coxy. And the chicken and any vegetables in the paella, so you're doing really well. πŸ‘
I meant to ask denise, what are you using the breadcrumbs for?
Having a 's*d it' day and having wine syns on a school night. 😊

MamanΒ I use the breadcrumbs to coat the chicken. Β What do you use? Β I thinkΒ bubbs uses instant mash which I don't have.

CoxyΒ The cottage cheese is only Protein if it's the natural fat free or very low fat otherwise it's Free or syns depending on brand.

I quite often have S*d it nights and have a drink or 2! Β Trying not to have a drink more than 4 or 5 nights though.

I use instant mash too. My favourite is a very basic one from Tesco as it's quite coarse but as I haven't been shopping around much I'm using Sainsburys at the moment. πŸ™‚

I've been trying to stick to Monday to Thursday alcohol free which is what I usually do except for meals out. As it's the end of the month coming up and I've only had 2 extra days I gave myself a treat. 😁🍷

I've been using The Food Warehouse, Morrisons or occasionally Lidl during lockdown. Β Tesco's has been a nightmare. Β Perhaps I ought to pick up some instant mash and try using that instead of the breadcrumbs. Β Do you Syn it now it's synned (bit like granulated sweetener)?

    Hi again,
The cottage cheese is Aldi FF with pineapple. Hoping it’s not too many syns eeek. I’ve just had an Aldi caramel wafer with a cuppa. So that’s me done for today. Paella was nice but had a large chopped carrot (for speed). Not sure it really β€˜went’ with the dish but hey ho.Β
Cheers to all those having a s*d it day. We all have them - tomorrow is another day!

I'm sure the cottage cheese is fine coxy. I will check online though. I always buy plain and add spring onions or whatever.Β

We have a Food Warehouse that opened just before lockdown deniseΒ so not been there yet. DGD told me about them as she had one of the first near her at university in London.

No, I don't syn the potato powder. It's the only time I use it so hardly excessive. πŸ€”
