Wow, thanks for the welcome.
My fitness tracker arrived today and I've just come back from testing it. Very late but after a very sedentary day working, I just needed to move. I set the target for 13000 steps, as that's what my phone tells me I've been averaging, but I only managed 11,500 since I put it on. I did go for a gentle 1.5k stroll at lunchtime before it arrived, so although I know I've reached target really, it's annoying that it doesn't count on the app. I was tempted to wander round a few more streets but thought it might look suspicious at this time of night!
Today's menu:
Breakfast: Skyr with strawberries, blueberries, sprinkled with cinnamon and 1/2 grapefruit. (Must see if I can buy some more tomorrow)
Lunch: Hot smoked salmon, huge green salad, capers & lemon rind. (A yummy rare treat - expensive but worth it). Satsuma, carrot sticks.
Dinner: Chilli beef from the magazine + apple. I didn't realise the beef was supposed to be cooked for ages until crispy, so I just stir-fried it. I was really impressed and leftovers are packed for later.
Snack: HEA for latte. No HEB today, just didn't fancy anything and too full.
Syns: 1.5 (chilli beef). I hope the hot smoked salmon isn't synned? I know smoked mackerel is, but everywhere I search says hot smoked salmon is free. It just tastes so decadent! 12 year old cooked chocolate brownies and I had to taste a tiny, tiny bit to not offend him. (literally a cm so maybe 1/2 syn tops?) Otherwise I completely resisted.

Morning all. Hope you had an enjoyable birthday yesterday. Another load of washing on and will be out on the line shortly! I'm loving the weather, especially to be able to get the washing dry without having to dry it on airers!
Weighed this morning and for some reason I seem to have put on 1.5lb! I only went over Syns by a couple, seems excessive for a couple of extra syns over the week but no matter, still within target range but had hoped to be moving towards bottom end not back towards top end!
Need to get some more shopping today that I wasn't able to get earlier in the week so will pop out later to see if I can get it, otherwise meal plan will need to change over the next few days!
Today's plan:
B - weetabix, milk - HEA; HEB; F (bit of sweetener)
L - LO veg pilau & roasted squash (only made half the recipe from the magazine but far too much for one lunch!) - S; F
D - Fakeaway KFC, chips, corn on the cob, HM coleslaw,beans - P; S; F

That's quite a target, well done. We just about manage the 10 000 on a good day but that's partly because it takes a while as we're sightseeing as we go.
The hot smoked salmon should be fine provided it's not a pre prepared ready meal type thing. Then some retailers start adding in oil and dressings which can push the syns up. Is it a branded one?
Shame about the gain denise. Maybe it's the heat causing a bit of water retention? It'll soon go.I'm back to food shopping on a Friday as it's what I'm used to and I seem to be able to plan better that way. When I changed to Thursday I kept running low on fresh food. Today I'll use up some of the odd bits of veg in my omelette (asparagus, spring onions, tomatoes).
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porage, HEA1 milk
L- veggie omelette (P,S) with beetroot (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S) with spaghetti (F) and HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- none planned

TIE how old's the new addition? Looks to be an older dog the way his ears are pricked up!
When I posted my menu earlier I forgot to say I'd be using 3 syns for a slice of bread to make the breadcrumbs!
I think you might be right maman about the water retention as my stomach definitely looks a bit bloated and my ankles are a little swollen. Still at least I've got another 5 or so weeks to lose some of the weight before I need to text my consultant again!
Right I'm going to get my washing in as it's been out quite a while and definitely looks dry and aired!

That's a big undertaking having a new dog during lockdown tie. Although I have envied people out for walks recently. There must be some very fit dogs around!1
