Well done on your loss orange. 👏👏👏
2lbs on is brilliant for lockdown midge. I'm trying to keep alcohol to the weekend but it's been hard. The weekend stretched into Thursday a couple of times. 😉

We went to Sainsburys earlier for things I can't get in Aldi. I bought a red cabbage as I need more for the freezer.

    Today's EE plan -
    B- NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs (P) , mushrooms (S)
    L- ham (P), 2 potatoes (F), fried vegetables and beetroot (S)
    D - sausage casserole with tagliatelle (P, S, F)
    Syns - HP sauce 1, cornflour 1, sausages 1

Orange things like pickled onions, cornichons, pickled cabbage, pickled beetroot are all Speed.  Other things like mustard, salad dressings etc are very low Syn - most things are only 0.5 per level Tbs.

Lunch was cottage cheese with pineapple and salad. Dinner was bbq - halloumi for HEA, burger was syns (Angus burger from Aldi). The spicy beef kofte was 5% beef from Aldi so syns but hopefully not many. Potatoes and salad were plain - family had buttered potatoes and salad dressings.
Did 5k run this morning in 32:46. My best time is 32:26 so not far off and not bad for an oldie like me! Would love to do it in 30 minutes - doubt that will ever happen though!

Nice meals Coxy, plenty of Speed.  The burgers are 7 Syns.  Can't find spicy beef softie but there is a beef kebab (40g) if it's those then they are 2 Syns - that's the nearest I can find.  Assume the Halloumi is your HEA?

    Good morning everyone,
Another lovely day here. I've been for my 5k run. No record smashing time(!) but glad I did it.
Thank you for looking up the burger syns joedenise. I can honestly say I enjoyed every mouthful, they were lovely. Think the beef Kofte you found is right too.
    Today's menu is:
B : 2 Weetabix (HEB), skimmed milk (HEA), apple (S)
L : tinned sardines in tomato sauce (P,C), lettuce, tomatoes, beetroot (S)
D : diet cola chicken and rice (P,S)
    Snacks: grapes, banana
Not sure what syns yet, but minimal. Also need to squeeze in 2nd HEA but always struggle with that.
Food shopping tonight, so will stock up at A!di. Need to look up their super 6 for this week.
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy xx

You really don't have to "squeeze in" a 2nd HEA!  It's only been fairly recently that they introduced the 2nd HEA so if you don't want it don't have it.  Before that it was just one HEA and one HEB.  No need to cut back on Syns either.  It's best to have some everyday if you can - SW recommend a minimum of 5.

No problem looking up Syns for you - just ask if you want to know how many Syns things are.

Been out shopping so now have plenty of fruit again - I only had a little bit of chopped pineapple left in the fridge which is only Free and not Speed unfortunately!

Having a fairly lazy day foodwise today, using up stuff from the cupboard and freezer.  Just need to cook carbs and veg to go with the main part of the meal.

    B - Weetabix, milk, bit of sweetener - HEB; part HEA2; F
L - half tin beef bourguignon (bought whilst on holiday in France in March!); mash; green beans - P; S; F; 2 syns
    D - HM lasagne with butternut squash sauce; salad - P; S

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - split milk/parmasan
    Syns - tinned bourguignon 2

Have a good day everyone and stay safe.

It's bloomin hot today , i was going past Iceland this morning and needed a few bits and they had chicken legs reduced £1 pack  shame there was only 1, but got bacon medallions £1 too. Anyway thought i'd take the drummer bit off have them for my lunch and put the thigh in the freezer for KFC, BUT they were amazing, i cooked them too for tea, i did them in the acti with sainsburys syn free fajita seasoning, trying to  get the pictures but it's not playing ball at the moment 🙄
