Hi all, mind if I join in?
I have been lured by the scrumptious photos that Bubbs keeps posting and the varied menus you are putting up. I've been at target before but have been lax and need to get back on the wagon. During lockdown I've put on half a stone, but tbh it had been creeping up since Christmas.
I have been running early mornings - try to go at least 5 days a week - and am now doing between 3-5k each time. This week I ran a total of 17k over 5 days (didn't go yesterday or this morning).
I've been really good with syns all week, only having between 1-5 per day. Haven't missed having treats, but I think it's always the case with me when I first get going. After a couple of weeks, the treats seem harder to resist. Last night we decided to support a local family business and order take out. Family all had pizza and homemade pasta but I opted for chicken fillet burger on brioche bun with chunky chips. Not my best choice, but I couldn't manage much of it. Had about half the chicken fillet, top of burger bun and a few chunky chips. Felt really full and deep fried food gives me heart burn now as I have it so infrequently. I may also have had some red wine..... Today I didn't surface until 11am(!!!) which meant brunch, snacky lunch and we are having a bolognaise type pasta bake for dinner.
WI this morning and 2lbs lost this week whoohoo!
Brunch: 3 rashers lean bacon, poached egg, mushrooms (P, S), 1 tbsp ketchup (1)
Lunch: Whitworths shots (5), tangerine, apple (S)
Dinner: Bolognaise bake (5% lean steak mince, onion, passata, carrots, mushrooms), dried pasta, cheddar (HEA)
HEB - not sure I will have this today

Welcome Coxy.  Well done on your loss this week.  At that rate it won't be long before you get back to target!  I'm a target member too and have been since 2012 (most of the time!).  I usually go out of target range when I go on holiday for a month at a time in our motorhome but I just stick to plan like glue for a couple of weeks when I get back before weighing to ensure I'm back in range!  The joy of being a target member and not having to weigh every week.

Don't cut back on the Syns as they are part of the plan.  As you've been reading the thread you are probably aware some of us use our syns weekly!  I use most of my syns between WI day (Thursday) and Sunday.  I total up how many syns I've had Sunday  and then work out how many I have left to use between Monday and Wednesday.  This week I've got 24 syns left for the 3 days assuming I don't have any more than my planned syns.

Good luck for WI tomorrow Orangetoes.

Hi again, thanks for the warm welcome :)
Dinner eaten and there's 2 portions of leftovers for tomorrow. I have three children (21 B, 18 G and 16 B ) and DH at home and they are forever hungry so it won't be wasted.
I have made my overnight oats for the morning using vanilla mullerlight and some pitted frozen cherries from T's. I know they aren't speed but I do so enjoy them in my overnight oats. Lunch tomorrow will probably be cottage cheese with pineapple and a large speed salad. For dinner we are planning a bbq. I don't have any low syn meat so will have to syn a burger or sausage or maybe both. Will have a large salad with it.
I'd really like to lose 9lbs as my first goal - the weight I've gained since Christmas. So I've got 7lbs to go. Will be running tomorrow first thing and am currently on star week, so hoping next Sunday's WI will be a similar loss. Here's hoping...
    Have a good evening all

I often cook a jacket potato in the microwave to go with a BBQ to help fill me up.  As bubbs said just cut the fat off some meat and it'll be Free or cook a chicken breast or couple of thighs.

When I do overnight oats I usually used mixed fruit plus some cherries because I like them too - so I get the cherries I like along with some Speed!

Morning all, weather looks a bit better today!  Really bright and not windy.  No washing to do today for a change!  Don't think it's warm enough at the moment to sit in the garden but maybe later on!

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats, mixed frozen fruit, yoghurt - HEB; S; F; P
    L - egg salad - P; S; might have some lemon & herb low cal dressing 0.5
    D - LO roast beef, chips, beans, pickles - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge oats
Syns - low cal salad dressing 0.5; nothing else planned but have some spare if needed!

Well done Orangetoes, great loss.  I'm sure you'll easily get back to target by September!

Do you split your HEA between milk in drinks and the Babybel Lights as you can have 3 Babybel lights for HEA?

Have you thought about adding some pickles to your salads to up the Speed levels?  I usually add pickled beetroot & pickled onions and occasionally cornicorns or gherkins as well as my Syn Free red onion chutney!  Adding the pickles almost doubles the amount of Speed foods on the plate!

Morning. Not a cloud in the sky here. I haven’t posted much lately as I don’t really have much to say. As far as food is concerned, all is good. On plan meals and plenty of fruit and veg. Booze however, is taking all my syns and more. I suspect I’m not alone in this. Everyday seems like a weekend and with hubby at home (he is normally in London in the week) we have tea, take the dogs a walk and then have a beer or a glass of wine. Don’t get me wrong, we aren’t dependant or overly excessive with the drinking but it does seem to be a habit that we need to kick.
my own scales say I’ve gained 2lbs since lockdown started so as long as I can keep that steady I’m sure all will be ok as soon as we get back to work.
    Take care everyone.

I think you're right MM, alcohol definitely plays more of a role in life in lockdown.  We are trying not to drink every day which we seemed to do after the first few weeks of lockdown but probably still drinking about 4 days a week but at least it's better than it was!

A 2lb gain in 2 months isn't too bad.  My weight went up at the beginning of lockdown but I've managed to bring it back down over the last 6 weeks and had a difference between the weight I sent to my consultant 6 weeks ago and last week of 3lb which being at target I'm well happy with as I am now just below my actual target weight so only 2lb to bottom end - not sure I'm going to make that though as had too much of a 'treat' day the day I sent my weight to my consultant so now needing to pull it back!
