Welcome hev, good to have you join us.
Sorry can't help much with the bread. I break the 'rules' and stick to Rankin Irish Soda Bread which used to be a HEB and I'm not aware they've changed the recipe. The next best IMO is Burgen Soya and Linseed but they've stopped doing a small loaf so you can only have 1 slice as a HEB. 🍞😉🤔

Thanks for asking this hev. I looked at syns online and it seems that Morrison's 800g medium sliced wholemeal is 2 slices for a HEB. Probably not as tasty as the ones I like but would allow for a good sandwich or a slice at breakfast and another for something on toast at lunchtime. I'll certainly give it a go now I'm allowed to drive across the city to our one and only Morrison's. 😁

Morning all!  A bit cloudy this morning but not as windy as yesterday, although the wind is quite chilly.

Maman I think I posted on the last thread about the curry.  It was my DD1's partner who is the chef.  It was just a basic curry using a bought Medium curry powder and unfortunately he doesn't measure anything but said he made 16 portions and used about 4 Tbs of curry powder but of course I've no idea how accurate that is as he just eyeballs it being a professional chef!  I have to admit I was surprised he didn't make his own curry powder mix, even I do that!  I used to make a paste and freeze it but found it easier to just make up the powder and then add the ginger, garlic and chilli when I make the actual curry.

The only thing I think of for the pork fillet bubbs is to slice it and cook it in the oven on a bed of vegetables so just like a tray bake, which seems a bit of a waste with something like pork fillet, I think.

Both DH and I felt hungry last night so around 8 I ended up cooking a tray of SW chips! and very much enjoyed by both of us!

    Today's plan:

B - fry up with sausages - 2 sausages! egg, beans, mushrooms & tomatoes - P; S; F; 9!  (was only supposed to be having one sausage but DH decided he only wanted egg & beans on toast so I ended up with both the sausages!
L - cheese on toast - HEA; HEB; P; F (I add mustard powder, Worcester sauce and an egg to make it)
    D - roast beef dinner - beef, roast potatoes, roasted veg, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 2 sausages 9

Won't be having any more Syns today!

    Morning all

Thanks Denise, i saw a lovely recipe on one of the sw pages and can't find it now, it was left whole, marinated in spices looked lush, this is what inspired me to buy it.
My leg is alot better today but has a massive bruise where the blighter bit me! It's still swollen but the redness has gone down, Phewwww!!
I am planning on making some scotch eggs today, might even make a crustless quiche as well, not done either for a few weeks

Have a good day all

Would it be this one bubbs?

    https://group.slimmingworld.co.uk/recipes/gunpowder-pork.aspx

    That would definitely be spicy!

Glad the leg is a bit better today and the redness has gone down.  I'm sure the swelling will also reduce soon.

Hi, can anyone tell me the syns for the naked noodle soups please? (for my sister) She has the Asian chicken one and pad thai.
They are the sachets, a bit like mug shots..

    Thank you.
