It seems the Thanks button has come back - it definitely wasn't anywhere on the site that I went this morning and others had mentioned it too!

Glad you got a call back from the nurse and you got some antibiotics for the bite.  You don't want cellulitis again!

I'm surprised you managed to last until lunchtime with just a couple of satsumas for brekkie!  It would last me that's for sure.  I ended up having my last biscuit with a cuppa mid morning (1 Syn).

Just checked and haven't got ricotta I've got mascarpone so going to have to syn that (7.5 Syns!!!), oh well at least it's within Syns, LOL!  I'm probably going to have a couple of rum and ginger beers this evening so that will take me to 13.5 syns for the day which is fine.

Can you not put on a timer when you cook your eggs bubbs?  I always time everything or I'd be forever forgetting I've got stuff cooking which would be a right pain when different things need to go on at different times for a meal!

I've always had a drink on a Thursday, if I've had a loss, LOL, ever since I started.  That was my "treat day" treat, IYKWIM!  I've found as long as I count the syns it really doesn't make much different.  I only usually have a couple of either spirits (5 or 6 depending what I have!) or 10-15 if I choose wine!  But as I've used so many syns for dinner tonight, accidentally, it definitely needs to be rum & ginger beer to keep me within syns.

When my last kitchen timer packed up, I just started using the timer on my phone. I couldn't manage without one for so many recipes, especially my SW chips! 😋
Well done on your loss denise. I'm sure not eating out at all is helping us stay on plan. 👏👏👏
Good to see you posting PIB. 👍

I'll be doing my meal plan for the next week later. One of the things I must do is make more Bolognese. I just took the last portion out of the freezer. 😯

I usually use the timer on my cooker although my new microwave also has a timer on it which means I don't need to rush to turn it off as it only beeps 5 times and then turns itself off!  I think it's probably my age why I need the timer for everything!

When I went to make the cannelloni for dinner realised I'd picked up low fat mascarpone instead of ricotta!  So loads of syns used - 7.5 to be precise!  Also used 0.5 HEA2 on some parmesan for the top.  Now having a couple of rum and ginger beers before going out to Clap for the Careworkers!

Oh no bubbs!  That's not good.  Assume you have the chicken out now, can't not have KFC tonight it's the law for you isn't it, LOL!  Hope those antibiotics kick in soon.  I usually find they start working after about 48 hours so hopefully your swelling will start reducing soon.

Windy and cloudy here too but looks like it's trying to brighten up a bit.

Have just cut up a pineapple which I bought end of last week as it's finally ripened!  It's lovely and sweet but mustn't eat too much in one go as it upsets my stomach a bit if I do.

    Today's plan:

B - cheese omelette - Part HEA; eggs
L - Pizza toastie; salad - HEB; part HEA; S
    D - fish pie; peas; green beans - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - wine?

Yes Denise it is the law 🤣🤣 yes i took it out and stuck it in a bowl of cold water (in the bag) because it was all clumped together, but it is defrosting as can separate them now , so changed the water, all will be ok

Yes i hope they  kick in soon too, it's better when i am on the go as dosen't feel like a wooden leg then 😂😂😂
