You're right maman it's weird about corn on the cob not being Speed. I think the reason is as it matures it gets much starchier than when It's small.
Orange there are lots of things you can have for HEB which aren't bread, nuts, tinned fruit, seeds etc. But if you get plenty of fibre from fruit and veg like bubbs does then probably not needed but if you don't then I think it's a good idea to try to have it at least most days. There are also gluten free breads that can be used as HEB if you wanted bread.
With regard to the sausages I think I'd call them 5 unless they are much smaller than the ones which are listed.
Denise
I'm assuming they must be 50g each, which is barely any different. I'll call them 5. Puts me on 12 for the day anyway.
B - banana
L - Beef casserole
D - salad, chicken, sausages 10 syns.
Snack - Iced lolly 2 synsUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Morning all. Another nice day and a bit cooler than yesterday thankfully! It was definitely too hot yesterday, so hot I couldn't spend long in the garden at a time!
Looks like the Thanks button has disappeared from the threads. Wonder why.
That looks like a bit more Speed @Orangetoes today and also HEA and HEB which is good. You can actually have 3 Babybel Lights for your HEA if you want to have another one. Not sure if you know but you are allowed 2 HEAs now not just the one.
Today's looking very like a Green day so will have an HEB to spare if I want it later! Today's plan:
B - overnight oats - HEB; F; S
L - jacket potato, beans & salad - S; F
D - spinach and ricotta cannelloni - HEA; S; P
HEA1 - milk in teas
HEA2 - ricotta
HEB - porridge oats
Syns - none planned

L - Tuna salad. (Syns 0,5)
D - Chicken curry, rice, veg
I'm taking my younger kids off on a bike ride today. I was supposed to do yoga this morning but after being awake in the night with toothache, I had a lie in. I'll try and do the yoga later if I get a chance.
Have a great day everyone.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

It's odd about the Thanks button denise although I must admit I rarely use it any more. Mse just seems to have ignored many of the comments on the issues about migration to the new platform. It seems such a shame that when this sort of online facility could have been a godsend for so many, it's lost so many posters. I know this thread suffered when people were put off using the new format although that's just one factor. I was thinking last night about all the regular posters who have gone AWOL during lockdown. They're probably giving themselves some slack by eating and drinking what they like to help cope during this difficult time and who can blame them. Hopefully they'll return when things return to the 'new normal' especially if the government gives fighting obesity a high profile.

Morning everyone, just back from very warm dogwalk for the old BodyMagic. I am still around, still eating SW, but some weeks are more succesful than others
. Have not bothered with Zoom last few weeks but do want to keep my membership, so will see when the latest is I have to WI by. Keeping everything crossed we will go back to real groups eventually, although I realise it will not be the same and not everyone will come back. But do love the syns online and other website access, so must make sure I stay in target range so I don’t have to pay being a MSE
.
Welcome to any newbies and returners joining us. Bubbs loving your puds pix as usual. I have taken to freeze my Muller/from frais mix and pretend it is icecream. And bought some Aldi mini viennese icecreams for 4 syns each, makes a nice change. Also finally managed to get their skinny pork sausages, just to change from the Heck chicken ones, we like both actually. Definitely salad weather now, so lots of things to choose from to eat. Will also be doing a bit of gardening, I think small doses is the way to go, with some relaxing in the hammock inbetween
.
Have a good day everyone.

Wish the Thanks button was there maman! Absolutely agree with you.
Forgot earlier I sent in my weight to my consultant this morning and am 3lb down from when I last messaged here (6 weeks) and that's a lb down from last week. I'm now lb below my actual target weight. Got 2lb to go to get to bottom end - been a long time since I've been there. I've no idea how it's happened as I've actually felt as though I'm struggling a bit at times but I'm glad it is happening. Would like to get to bottom end by the time I send my consultant my weight again!

Good menus redmel and orange.
Denise is right about the second HEA although many of us, who were used to the old plan, only use it occasionally. I'll use it today as I used to syn Parmesan so it's a bonus but I certainly don't use it every day. Also, as I don't measure milk for drinks any more (I did originally and now have a fair idea of how much I use in a day), it gives me a buffer.
Do you plan in any snacks redmel? I don't personally as I find 3 large meals is enough but I'd be desperate for lunch if I only had Weetabix for my breakfast. The only time I do that is if I'm going out for a 2/3 course lunch with friends. I wouldn't want you to go hungry.
Thursdays have been difficult for me during lockdown. Because I moved my weekly shop, it's felt as if Thursday was the end of the week and I can have (unplanned) wine syns. Last week I moved back to Friday and it was much better. I'm going to try it again although I might regret it if the shops are busy tomorrow because of the Bank Holiday.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, 2 fried eggs (P), HEA1 milk
L- Pasta salad (F,S,P) with ham (P)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- none planned
I seem to be having a lot of pasta today. I'll survive.

The bike ride with the kids ended up a bit of a non starter, we did a mile and they wanted to go home, so that was that lol. I might go out and get on with some digging in the garden instead. We are removing wonky, old decking area from the back and have got all the boards and frame off, now we need to level the area to grass it.
At least it is a bit of exercise.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
