I suspect a few consultants might be looking for something different, my sister in law’s consultant is finishing too. I’d considered going back to group in the new year but now this new strain of the virus has emerged I’m not inspired to go into a group setting - even with social distances.
I’ve just gone with the flow and eaten whatever has taken my fancy over Christmas. Surprisingly most of it has been on plan or low syn with an occasional piece of Christmas cake and an evening Baileys. I’ve not gone mad but not counted anything either. I weighed myself this morning and was 9st 5lb so if I can get to 8st 5lb....preferably 8st 2lb which is 2 stone less than when I started SW - I’ll be a happy Milann.
I’m still going with the flow until 4th January then back with a vengeance 👍

Well thought i would make some waffles, the first 1 stuck like sh1te to a  blanket, so i got the other plates out and made like little doughnuts ones, all was going well to the bloody machine packed up altogether!! so i have ordered a silicon mold from amazon, will be here tomorrow, will finish them off tomorrow, or i may put the plates in the oven when i have it on i will see.
I am being frugal with the gas as the tank is low 🙄 that would be all we need no gas!!

Thanks Bubbs....I will check if I decide to go. I’m not interested in zoom. I’d rather go it alone. It’s a shame as I used to love the group....great consultant and lovely people.

I agree i used to like group, i do zoom now and then , but consultant seems very hot and miss lately, she does not even post on the fb page unless it's about a zoom meeting

My group had its last session last Thursday milann, then we went into Tier 4. Going it alone, with this thread, suits me fine. I think we've done really well to keep our motivation for 9 months so we must be doing something right. 🤔 You can always ask on here if you need syn values or anything else. 😊

I'll more or less be going it alone along with the thread although will still WI every 6-8 weeks (once I find out how now that consultant finishing in January) just so I can keep access to website.

Went to pick up a magazine and the new booklet from consultant this afternoon.  She said someone will be in touch to let me know where to send my weight to but she's no idea who will be taking over.

Found out she's not been happy with some people at SW (not members so I suspect either other consultants or HQ), saw a job advertised a couple of weeks ago on the Thursday evening, 10th, sent her CV Friday morning and then got an email asking her to go for interview the following Wednesday and offered her the job on 17th.  She's already been there for a day for an induction and to make sure you thought the job would be for her so she's starting there after finishing SW on 14th January.  She said it shocked her as well as all of us members.

That's interesting denise. I suspect that SW has been slow to send consultants their share of the money paid on cards, possibly using Covid as an excuse. My consultant has been desperate to be paid in cash where, I guess, she takes her cut first. 🤔

My consultant only takes cash or cheques in group or direct payment into HER account.  She's never had a machine so you can pay by card.
