That's the sort of thing my DH would do too bubbs!

I would suspect it's the CV and Zoom maman, also she actually has lots of target members who all used to go every week (basically most of the Social Team plus others).  I think a lot of people gave up when we went into the 1st lockdown, quite a few didn't return when we went back into venue and of those that did very few actually stayed - I think about 6 usually which is really low when the normal sized soup was nearer 30 staying.  It certainly wasn't as good and that was when I started getting fed up with it!  I know lots of people didn't bother again, me included, when it went back to Zoom.  Really I've only been "keeping in touch" in order to keep access to the website, which is what I'll probably do with a new consultant.  You never know the new one might even be a better consultant!  Time will tell but it must be a very difficult time to start.

Decided to have a few drinks tonight so will be over syns today but I'm sticking to plan food wise as far as possible so it's really a case of good when I can etc etc!

Definitely speedy soup!  Never tried it myself but loads of people did.  Don't know if anyone has it now.  There used to be a recipe for it at the beginning of the old threads.

Weather looking a bit kinder at the moment although the forecast is for more rain later but the rest of the week is supposed to be just cloudy with no more rain.  Hopefully I can get some washing dried outside again this week.  Hat having wet washing indoors on the airer.

    Today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
    L - prawns, avocado, cheese, salad, coleslaw - HEA2; P; S; 4.5
D - shepherds pie; veg - P; S; F (will use up the  LO roast lamb)
If I need a snack then I've got more teacakes in the fridge (4 syns)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - porridge oats
    Syns - avocado 3.5; LTL mayo 1; teacake? 4

Oh yes, Speed Soup. I've never had it either but I remember people having to split it into 2 saucepans because there was so much of it!

It's wet here bubbs, probably won't venture out. Is your DH still off work? 🤔 That can make it more difficult to think of meals.

I could fancy the avocado and prawns denise.😋  I think they go so well together. It's always one of my choices of starter if I see it on a restaurant menu.

Food is almost back to normal today but I will have a few treats this evening. I'm hoping to  gradually work through my chocolates between now and Sunday. DH will help with cheese and crisps but he has his own chocolates and biscuits. We'll probably have a synful meal on NYE too. I'm thinking maybe something with dauphinoise potatoes?

I'm thinking of starting a new thread this week. Any ideas? Thoughts?

Today's EE plan (the good bits😇)
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- cold meat (P), fried potatoes (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips , asparagus, tomato, cheesy cabbage (S), HEA2 Primula
    Syns- tbc😉
