You've done exactly the right thing to get back on plan ASAP jax. 😊 I've not felt bloated since the extra bread on Boxing Day.
I'm hoping that a bit of a shake up then gradually getting back on plan will work for me.
What's pleased me is that, while 8 I have enjoyed the odd chocolate, cheese and extra wine, I really am pleased to get back to healthy eating. I'm sure that's why I've stayed at target. SW really suits me. 😊 and doing it mse makes it even better! 🤣0 -

Morning all. Decided that as it's forecast to be dry again today I'd get the bedding washed. Will get that out on the line and then go shopping. Planning on stocking up at Lidl on things like dishwasher tabs, washing liquid and shampoo as it's got 20% off at the moment. Will buy a couple of each to go in the store cupboard in the spare bedroom. Should last at least 3-4 months.
Today's plan:
B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
L - jacket potato; veg chilli - P; S; F
D - burger in WM roll; chips & beans - HEB; 0.5; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - WM roll
Syns - burger 0.5; will probably have another teacake with a cuppa this evening 4 syns - will be glad when the box has gone
Have a good day everyone.

I had a look in the washing basket this morning and there really wasn't enough of anything to justify putting the machine on. I think I'll do towels and other whites tomorrow though. My mother always said it was unlucky to do washing on New Year's Day so I've followed the tradition. It was probably a made up superstition to give women a day off! 🤣

Apparently not!!😁
I portioned up the savoury mince this morning and kept some out for my lunch tomorrow. The freezers are pretty full now so, other than some joints for roasts, I'll only really need to buy fresh stuff through January. I will go to Farmfoods though as I want to buy more pickles. I tried a jar of beetroot and pickled cabbage over Christmas and they're fine so I'll stock up while they have them. I've decided to do dauphinoise potatoes tomorrow night with a really nice piece of fish. They won't be that synful as it'll mainly be the low fat crème fraiche as the cheese can be mostly HEA. I think that extra HEA is the best change ever to SW. 😊 I can make 2 dishes of the potatoes from one tub of crème fraiche so the other one can go into the freezer (somehow!).
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S)
L- LO chickenless casserole (P,F,S), pickled cabbage (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), tagliatelle (FF), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- Christmas goodies😋0 -

Glad the gas is sorted. It's too cold to be without heating at the moment. Do you have any other form of heating you can use? Suspect a new tank will be quite expensive won't it?

We don't have to pay for it, it's rented from Calor, you don't buy them, but they will have to empty the gas, remove the tank, put the gas back in , think they have to have a crane type lorry to move themSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
We had a similar scare on Christmas Eve when the gas boiler didn't start. Fortunately it was fixed in the afternoon but no hot water was the main problem. We have portable electric heaters and cooker is electric. They're coming back to check it out in case any new parts needed.
Amazing bargains bubbs, Well done!! 😊0
