After deciding no presents, the boy bought his dad a car! I got a hug which Iโ€™m still waiting for ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿคฃ.
Struggling with fatigue and no appetite (๐Ÿ˜ฑ) had small amount of beef & veg but couldnโ€™t eat it all. Another year of too much food bought!
Merry Christmas you lovely lot ๐Ÿฅฐ

Sorry to hear you're not well. ย Try and rest a much as you can. ย It's horrible being unwell especially at this time of year!

Your DH is a very lucky man! ย We also said no presents but our grandson ordered us some nice cheeses, tapas meat selection, crackers and a bottle of wine. ย Totally unexpected especially as he's never bought us a present before, our DD usually just puts his name on her presents to us!

Morning all. ย At least it's dry at the moment if a bit windy. ย I feel for those in areas where they've had flooding. ย It must be awful for those affected.

So after a couple of indulgent days and way over syns it's back to basics again from today! ย Going to try and keep the syns low for the rest of the week so try and do a bit of damage limitation.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausage, egg, beans, mushrooms - P; S; F; 2
    L - cheese on toast; HM coleslaw - HEA2/HEB; S; 1
    D - lamb & chickpea curry, rice - P; S; F; 1.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - low fat sausages 2; LTL mayo 1; lamb shoulder 1.5?

That's a shameย TIE. ย Just do the best you can. ย It's hard at the best of times but feels even harder this year! ย Good luck in getting your head back in gear soon!

Change of plan for lunch! ย DH decided we should have the same as we had Christmas Eve so I had Ryvita, Spanish tapas meats; some cheese so HEB; HEA2; 2 syns for cold meats - 4 slices @ 0.5 per slice - so still low syn.

I weighed myself this morning and have put on 2lb since I weighed on Thursday! ย Don't normally put on that much over Christmas but it'll soon come off (hopefully) now that I'm more or less back on plan!

Have got a joint out of the freezer for tomorrow night but it isn't labelled! ย There should have been a pork joint and a lamb joint in the bag but there is only one joint now so must have had one a while ago but not marked on my inventory so not sure what it is - still will find out tomorrow! ย I think it's lamb again - good job we like lamb as that will be 3 days running!

Was supposed to have been a beef stew tonight but couldn't find that in the freezer either which is why we've ended up with the lamb and chickpeas which I'm planning on turning into a curry!

Hope everything is OK where you areย bubbs. ย The floods on TV this morning in Bedford looked awful but I don't know if it's worse elsewhere - sounds like it might be where you used to live. ย Hopefully things don't get any worse although not hopeful with the forecast of Storm Bella on there way.

Wow! ย that's awful. ย Is that where you are now or where you used to live? ย Even if my village floods (it's only happened twice in the 20 years I've lived here) where we live we're OK as we're on top of a cliff - the 2nd highest area on our island!
