I'll make a dozen for DH tomorrow but probably won't eat any. I'd rather Christmas pudding, not a fan of pastry except perhaps in pasties. I'm looking forward to the cheeses and the crisps. 😋

I made a dozen for DH a few days ago but I've only had one - he's eaten the other 11; along with 8 mini pannetone which he made plus half an enriched dough sultana cake in the last week!!!  He's still got hollow legs like a teenager, LOL!

Will be making another dozen tomorrow!

We've been bumped from T2 to T4 but I think I think we've got fewer cases than you. They don't explain but I think it's to do with commuters and second home owners from London.

Welcome to Tier 4!  It's pretty much the same as it was at the beginning with just essential shops open and the Stay at Home message again!

What I found a bit surprising that they've left the New Forest in Tier 3 but Tier 4 all round it; don't think it will be long until they go into Tier 4 too.

New Forest has a very prickly MP. We're 7.5 miles from there. Whether they get moved will depend on when/if there's a review. I haven't heard a planned date.

Originally they said 30 December but don't know if that is still going ahead as it wasn't mentioned but I wouldn't be surprised if it does still go ahead and put the whole country in lockdown.  In some ways I wish they would say everyone needs to wear face coverings when there are other people about and not just in shops etc.  Our high street is pretty wide, particularly since they shut it during the day and people still walk straight at you, really gets on my nerves - although no need to go down there now as the vast majority of the shops are closed as they are non-essential!

Decided to weigh this morning and not particularly happy as I've gained 0.5lb and I haven't even used all my syns this week!   I'm still in target (just) so looks like I might have to try a few more SP meals after Christmas (can't do SP days I always feel hungry when I do!).  I really want to get back around target or even better bottom end!

    Christmas starts now!

    Today's plan:

    B - Fry up - sausages, eggs, mushrooms, beans - P; S; F; 2
    L - Ryvita; selection of cold meats; cheeses; pickles & chutneys - HEB; HEA; S; F; ?
    D - Faggots; mash; veg - P; S; F; 1.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - Ryvita
    Syns - sausages 2; extra cheese 6? cured meats 4? Faggots 1.5

The cold meats are a selection pack from Sainsbury's which was bought as part of a Christmas present by our grandson (even though we'd all agreed no presents this year!) and the website syns them at 0.5 or 1 syn per slice!

    Merry Christmas everyone!
