Hopefully you'll get the results ASAP tie. Any idea when? 🤔 Enjoy your Christmas with the family though.

That was kind of your DH to order the cakes for you ruby. Very thoughtful. 😊 Sorry to hear you got soaked denise. I had a great time this afternoon. Someone had made plain cupcakes with a bit of lemon drizzle on, so I had one of those and enjoyed it. No idea of the syns but I know I can spare them easily. I had 44 left!  It felt very festive and we danced to a lot of Christmas music. I must admit it w0uld have been good to come home and have a glass of wine but I'm being strong!!

My decorations went up last Saturday. I like them for a short while but get tired of them after a while. I don't have masses but really pleased with my fireplace and front door. DH put some lights outside too. 🎄

Glad you got your chicken bubbs. As I was out I decided to shop this afternoon. There are so many horror stories in the news about shortages and panic buying that I didn't want to be traipsing around on Christmas Eve. I got everything I needed between Aldi and a short trip to Sainsbury's. I was lucky to get 4 YS packs of the BGTY sausages so I'll do my pigs in blankets tomorrow and freeze the rest.

Maman glad you enjoyed today
If people shop normally there will be enough for every one, but as we know people don't! The only thing i need to get next week is fresh stuff and yoghurt, i can't work out how people can not shop till the new year and have fresh fruit & veg?

I didn't get soaked maman just the bottoms of my trousers!  but it was very uncomfortable walking round the shops with muddy, soaking wet trousers around my ankles, LOL!  Glad you enjoyed your dancing.  You're being very good not having a glass of wine when you got home!  I've succumbed again tonight but that's the end of the bottle so no more after this glass.  It was all within syns though so I still haven't gone over this week so still hoping for a small loss on Thursday morning.  If I'm still within target I may well input my weight on the website so that my consultant can pick it up which will give me another 8 weeks before I need to weigh again.  We're staying virtual for the whole time we're in Tier 4 which I'm happy about.  May well have to pop to her house next Monday as I want to get the new magazine as January's is usually one of the better ones and there's also a new book out for members.

That's weird bubbs about the phone lines.  Is it worth trying again and seeing if it happens again?  Think I would.

I have just rang her mobile, she does not usually have it on 🙄 but knew there was a problem cause the lady across the rd rang Lynn (not my mum ) but it connected to mum & dad's , The workmen came today she said and dug a hole 😂 now they have connected all the phones up wrong, apparently they are coming back tomorrow. My sister said if it's not on, ring back Rob again and tell him to go and knock on the door and tell her to put it on 🤣 as if 2020 can;t get any weirder

That's so lovely of them Jax.  My best friend just started working as a paramedic for NWAS this year, and it's certainly been a year so you all deserve a treat!

Cakes are in the fridge and haven't been touched yet as I had a puff pastry mince pie to eat last night apparently (DH really is trying to feed me at the moment )  Going to boil a couple of eggs for breakfast in a minute and then lunch is going to be leftover mushroom rice from last night, "fried" with some kimchi.  Dinner will be a jacket potato with cheese and the last of the salad bits and I might have a bite of the brownie with some Bailey's tonight as today is my last day at work for the year (hopefully...might be redeployed back to A&E again over the weekend due to the "surge" in London)

Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning all.  Although the weather is rubbish I've wash our wet weather trousers and have hung them out on the line to drip - they don't spin very well so are absolutely soaking wet.  Will leave them out as long as I can before it starts to rain!  Then they can come in and be hung up in the shower to finish off.  Should be dry by the time we have our showers in the morning!

Today's plan (which has changed as was originally a Green day but now a normal EE day):

B - beans on 1 slice toast; marmalade on other slice - HEB; 2
    L - LO beef jerk stew & rice n'n peas - P; S; F
D - pasta with mediterrean sauce; side salad to use up mixed leaves and old cucumber - F; S

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 4 tsp marmalade 2

At least it didn't look as if the box was open jax. It must be very tempting to start on the chocolates as a reward for all your hard work  but the longer you can put it off the better.  You want that half stone award. 😉

I meant to ask if the rice and peas are green peas or red kidney beans denise? I've often seen that in Caribbean recipes. 🤔

My DH was offering me a glass of wine yesterday ruby. I did refuse as I know I wouldn't be happy to limit it to a glass. I think he was being festive.😉

WI for me tomorrow and I'm really hoping for this pound off that I need. I don't feel any thinner unfortunately and I know it's possible to stick to plan and not see a loss immediately so all I can do is hope for the best.

I'm glad I finished off the shopping yesterday as it's wet and windy today so I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere. I'm ging to potter about in the kitchen, make the pigs in blankets and freeze the other sausages. I might even catch up on my freezer inventory as I've been using stuff up  rather than  buying so it's got a lot of crossing out on there.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S)
    L- beef stew (P,S,F)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), tagliatelle (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0
