There's definitely a good reason - we've had so much rain the ground is boggy in places - the trolleys would get stuck in the mud LOL!  One good thing though - I won't have to hit any balls out of the bunkers as they are all full up with water!  Although when I played last week one ball went into a puddle in a bunker and it was so deep I couldn't find it!

Back later with my meal plan as not been up long.  Just got to go and get another cuppa to wake me up properly!

Sun's been shining here too bubbs but just as I was about to hang the washing out it decided to start spitting, typical!  Anyway as I came back in my phone rang and it was DD2 so had a chat to her for a while and then it had brightened up again so I've taken a change and hung it out!  Fingers crossed it doesn't start raining again.  We were only forecast a 10% chance of rain for today!!!

Stay strong bubbs, just a few more days and then perhaps have a flexible day or two and then back on plan again.  That's my plan anyway.

    Today's plan:

B - stuffed mushroom (stuffed with couscous, tomato, cucumber, mushroom stalk, last of the shiitake mushrooms and topped with cottage cheese and maple bacon seasoning); beans; bubble and squeak cake
    L - cheese on toast; coleslaw - HEA; HEB; S; 1
D - toad in the hole; roast potatoes; roasted carrots, onions, cabbage, peas - S; F; 6.5

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LTL mayo 1; 2 low fat sausages 2; 25g flour 4.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I'd have thought food shopping would be permitted ruby just like work and medical appointments. Of course, you might prefer to travel further and stick to Tier 2.

Well done for staying strong bubbs and gtq. 😊 The drive by idea is very kind jax, but pleased that your mum and dad have got you in their bubble so you won't be alone. I think it's the rising anger at the chaos that's keeping me going. It's not easy but better than feeling down.

I put Bolognese in the SC last night as I had carrots and mushrooms to use up. I portioned it up this morning and kept some  out for my lunch. I did more swede and carrot mash too.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs (P)
    L- JP (F), Bolognese sauce (P,S), beetroot (S)
D- Beef in 'Red Wine' (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), cauli, cabbage, swede, carrots, red cabbage, broccoli (S)
Syns- HP sauce 1, cornflour 1, weekend wine😋

Oh yuk! It's a shame that denise has a poor Aldi. I think you're probably right that it's down to the manager. The one we had before wasn't good. The food was fine but the place was like a jumble sale but much tidier now although I do sometimes tidy up the cottage cheese myself. 🤣
I'm down to 2 jars of beetroot but have got some vacuum packs. I buy mine in Home Bargains but not sure if I can get there soon. 🤔
