  • Morning all. Well done on the losses jax and GTQ, those are really good losses.  Can't believe the price war going on with the fruit and veg in the supermarkets.  Certainly going to be a bit of a shock next year when prices start to rise as stuff gets stuck at the ports but I'm not mentioning the B word here (DH's work revolves around it at the moment so it's a banned word in our house)

Not sure what's happening around here on the tier front, think we may be ok still in Tier 2 but who knows.  It's not like we're going out other than to the supermarket so it's not really affecting us.  Do plan on doing some doorstep deliveries of gifts this weekend though - we never usually buy presents for our friends (we're just not that type of group ) but this year I've got the couples some indoor marshmellow toasting kits and our single friends have things for their gardens as that was the big obsession this year   Other than that it's virtual contact all the way.

Had a leg focused workout last night and definitely feeling it today which I think is due to upping the weight on most of the exercises.  Think it's upper body today so might not be able to type tomorrow at this rate!  Had an oat milk latte and some clementines for breakfast, more mushroom soup for lunch with a slice of bread and butter and then dinner is going to be leek and chorizo macaroni cheese as I'm just trying to use things up before I need to defrost everything from the freezer!

Hope everyone has a good day and stay safe.

    Morning all,

I think my area will stay as teir 2, I'm hoping so as I have friends who work in pubs and restaurants and being allowed to open up has been a life saver.

Doing my body magic today (Christmas food shopping and last minute presents buying 😁) just been given an exercise bike and rower from my mum, as she's trying to clear out their garage. Probably won't get chance to have a proper go on them until after Christmas as I'm working from Sunday until Christmas eve and then back in work on the 27th but at least it's set up and ready to use.

Meal wise today breakfast was a pepper and mushroom omelette and toast with laughing cow light lunch will probably be a asda ham and egg salad box as I'll be out shopping all morning then again after lunch. I'm not sure what I'm doing for dinner it will either be a chicken stir fry or a chicken curry depending on how tired I am.

Syn wise I've had 3.5 for my advent calender chocolate (a mini Toblerone) trying to save some syns for Saturday as I'm finishing all my wrapping and will be rewarding myself with wine 😁

That's an amazing loss gtq. I can see exactly why it's great motivation as well as the obvious numbers on the scales. Brilliant!!😁

You've got your day well organised jax. Planning is perfect and plenty of Speed, especially if you go for the stir fry.

I try to not even think of the B word ruby.  I haven't been stockpiling but as I rarely go to Lidl I made a point of buying in the things we like from there as I had the vouchers to use. I'll make sure I have plenty of pickles too as I eat loads of them and they're a good source of Speed if fresh is scarce. Large jars are often around at this time of the year.

I went to WI this morning and STS. I feel strangely motivated to have a good week and try to lose that flaming pound to get me back into range!! I think I was lucky to STS last week as I'd gone over syns so that's probably why no loss this week. The timing is good as it means I'll follow the plan until Wednesday and any Christmas treats won't be touched until Christmas Eve. It'll stop me starting early.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk
L- JP (F) with cottage cheese (P)  and pickles  (S)
D- LO Beef slices (P), mash, HB gravy (F), carrots, cauli, broccoli, cabbage, kale (S)
    Syns- 0

Morning all, lovely day here again and more washing blowing on the line.  I love being able to get my washing dry outside.

Great loss GTQ.  My consultant has said previously that there will be a group on Christmas Eve as it's still a normal Thursday!  Not that I'll be weighing in, apart from at home just to see how I'm doing which isn't very well at the moment - I used all my syns last night and more so saw a gain on the scales this morning of 1.5lb!!!!  How on earth does it go on that quickly.  Going to have to be good if I'm to make sure I'm in target middle of January when I'm planning on weighing again and submitting my weight.

That's a very good SW day food wise and looks like plenty of Speed too.

    My plan for today:

    B - baked oats, grapes - HEB; P; F
    L - HM veggie scotch egg; salad; chips - P; S; F; 1
    D - spinach and ricotta cannelloni - HEA2; P; S

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - ricotta
    Syns - LTL mayo 1

I hope it is just fluid bubbs and will try and remember to jump on the scales in the morning - I often forget if it isn't Thursday, although I sometimes weigh on a Monday to see how much damage I've done over the weekend!

After posting I realised I was having a Green day so may well have a couple of Ryvitas later and syn 25g of Primula Light for 2 syns.

Klew Christmas wise I'll be off plan (not horrendously) on Christmas day but otherwise I'll be planning to stick to the plan the rest of the time I'm only off work on the Christmas eve, Christmas day and boxing day.

I know my mum will buy me chocolate for Christmas and so I portion it up and freeze it. I can actually make it last until Easter that way 😁

klew My meals will be on plan but I will definitely be having more syns than usual, mainly on alcohol but also a mince pie or two!

Klew, my meals will be very much on plan because things like roasts, cold meats and curries are very SW friendly. I'm just buying specific things I enjoy like blue cheese, crisps, 2 favourite chocolates (cherry liqueurs and chocolate marzipan) and a Christmas pudding. I'll eke those out until New Year and also a bit more bread for a turkey sandwich! From January I'll be back on plan. Oh and I forgot, like denise, plenty of drinks. 🤣
