Inconsiderate new neighbours bubbs.  Hope they are a bit more considerate once they're actually in!

Was a bit misty this morning but cleared now and looking quite bright and it's also a few degrees warmer than yesterday.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with butchers low fat sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - Welsh rarebit - HEA; HEB; P; F
D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F; 3 (using a slimming eats recipe, not tried it before but hopefully it'll be good - uses grated butternut squash in the sauce along with some real butter, hence the syns)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; butter 3; couple of rum & ginger beers 5

Hope you all have a good day.

    Afternoon all

Well the the TV saga has been sorted, as you know i live in a lodge, so i reported it to the "warden" this morning and she said that is not on and she had already spoken to him about the chewed up grass and he said he was going to sort that out anyway.
He has not been sleeping here and turning up about 10-11 each day. When i got home from hospital dh had his trainers on which i thought was odd and after i had spoken to her he took them off, he said he had them on ready to run round if he turned up 🤣🤣Anyway he did come about 11 and i went out and said Hi, my name is bubbs from next door and i don;t know if you are aware but.....he said warden had rang him and said straight away i was not aware of doing it but u ave had few different people here and could have been one of those but i will pay for it anyway.

The man came to do it about 12.30 and he did pay for it £70 😯as had to have a new dish as the other LNB would not fit on it. But also the man got another job out of it as he wants a dish fitting

He is a really nice guy so that made it alot easier.

    Hope everyone is ok?

Today i had BLT egg wraps 😋Picky tea for tea
Denise i love Butter Chicken in Goa 😁😁😁with a nice rotti , i am drooling 😂😂
Why the pic went in the middle i have no idea, also my spell check seems to have gone, so forgive any spelling mistakes !!

Glad the new neighbour seems to be nice bubbs.  Glad you've got your TV back today!  I'm not particularly bothered about TV but DH would be completely lost!!!

I've only ever done butter chicken using a packet mix before so hoping this will be nice.  Will report back tomorrow!

Glad you got your tv sorted bubbs and better still got off to a fresh start with your new neighbour. I'd miss the tv, particularly at the moment as I'm indoors in the evening so much compared with 'normal'. It's hard to find things to watch but I'm managing. Although I love dancing , I don't watch Strictly as I can't stand any of those competitive reality programmes or the presenters.

I had a laugh earlier denise when I read your menu as 'fed up with butcher's low fat sausages'. 🤣 I think that's just my verdict on the never ending lockdown regulations. 😉

We've been out for a walk this afternoon as it's mild and still here, even saw the sun briefly. I'm planning to make a batch of swede & carrot mash while I'm prepping dinner.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA1milk, raspberries (S)
L- veggie omelette (P,S and some HEA2 cheese), ham (P), beetroot and cornichons (S)
    D- chicken stir fry (P,S), noodles (F)
Syns- honey in sauce 2.5, weekend wine😊

    That made me laugh maman!

I'm another who doesn't watch Strictly.  I just get fed up with all the chat in between the dances!  The only programme I really like watching is Masterchef - although I think it would be far better without Greg Wallace - with the faces he pulls, it really winds me up!  I'm enjoying the Professional one that's on at the moment.  Used to like the Sewing Bee too but think the first series was the best - not keen on that so called comedian who's presented the last couple of series.  I don't know if they've got any plan to bring it back again.

Just cooking the sauce for the butter chicken at the moment.

PS. Decided not to wait until tomorrow to report back!  Well we've just finished dinner.  The butter chicken was really nice but just a little bit on the hot side for me!  I'll probably make it again but will make a cucumber raita to go with it next time to cool it down a bit!

We're basically in lockdown until Christmas because we're in Tier 3 but I think you're right it'll be in a national lockdown after Christmas.  We're not planning on meeting up with anyone over the Christmas period.  If we see our DDs it means they won't be able to see their partner's family too so it's easier to just not see either of them.  DD1 will not only see her partner's parents and DGD will want to see her boyfriend and his family which will be the 3 households!  To be quite honest it will actually be nice not to have to cook a Christmas dinner for everyone!

We're going to be on our own for the first time ever at Christmas too denise. DD1 is a teacher so, outside of going to work, she keeps clear of everyone. She's not been inside our house since March. DD2 always has her MIL round at Christmas so I'm expecting her to do the same this year. I'm not sure about cooking. I've offered to do 'meals on wheels' for DD1 as she's never cooked Christmas Dinner herself but DGD1 has in her student house so they might decide to have a go. 🤔
