Losing in Lockdown - Slimming World Support Thread

I suppose that the groups round here don't get massive numbers because there are so many of them. I went past another venue on my walk today. I could probably get to 5 or 6 in a couple of mile radius of my home.
We just sit down and take our shoes off like you would for any WI along with your coat, jumper and anything else you want to discard ! 😉
I've had nothing to do with Zoom, not SW or friends and family. ☹️1 -
I don't know what happens at group apart from weighing in shoes as not been since March!
These are my consultants groups
Monday 4pm, 5pm 7pm
Tuesday at 4 & 5pm
Weds 9,10,4,5,6,7pm
I know she does IT though.
Well i might have to have my tea even earlier for a few days , god knows how it's going to work!
Dh may be working 7-3 then 6-8 but we would have to leave 5.30 ish(latest) all because bloody students going home for Xmas 😂 they are having 700 covid tests and 40, 000 PPE equipment delivered and if they don't come between 7-3 will have to go back and they can;t give them a time, only 8-8 🙄Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0 -
Morning all,
Yes @maman it is like the mayflower, I actually prefer it to mayflower, it is 1 syn for 1tsp but I pack it out with veggies and use less chicken, I had it with egg rice yesterday but I might have the LO with noodles tonight.
B: fruit and fibre milk
L: lentil soup pitta pizza (tomatoes, mushroom, ham and cheese)
D : left over chicken curry and noodles.
I try and do 12500 steps a day outside of work, to compensate for the fact I am sat a lot at work, just put the key in the door last night after dog walk and I felt the wrist buzz on the fitbit to say I had done it, timed perfectly haha
welcome back @milann

Morning all. Had to pop into town to the opticians as lost the screw from my glasses and my spare pair aren't actually any good! Have had my usual ones sorted out so I can see again properly, thankfully. My spare pair they've admitted hadn't been made properly so they are being remade but they are going to change the frame to the same one as my main glasses as they are definitely a better fit. Hopefully once they're remade they'll fit properly and have the lenses fitted in the right place rather than too high!
DD1's chef partner has made us some profiteroles! So went down to her house to collect them - socially distanced exchange. She brought them out once we were parked up and then went back inside then DH went and picked them up! May well have one later but if there are any left tomorrow may have a couple more then (new syn bank starts tomorrow!!!).
Planning a Green day today:
B - overnight oats - HEB; P; S; F
L - LO leek and potato soup
D - mixed bean goulash; quinoa - P; S; F
S - Ryvita; cheese - HEA2; HEB
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB1 - oats
HEB2 - Ryvita
Syns - 2 Profiteroles 7 (but need to check weight of them but they are actually small ones for a change!)

That's really early for having your dinner bubbs. Did I read it right and your DH might have to go bask to work or might not so you wouldn't know from day to day? 🤔 That really needs thinking through.
I don't have a fitbit klew but my phone does count steps when I'm out. I suppose I should carry it around indoors too! What happens is when I'm out walking with DH, we chat and stop and look at things so don't get as many steps in as we could in the time. Yesterday we stopped at a bakery for DH to buy a lardy cake! Perhaps I should get a dog. 😁
My glasses have got very loose denise. I don't think it's a DIY job so I should ask at the opticians. Fortunately I only wear them for distances so it's not a huge problem. I'm OK sitting up driving or watching TV but when I lean forward they fall off!! They're also a pain with a mask. I've taken to carrying my glasses in my hand in shops and holding them in place when needed. I need a lorgnette! Enjoy your profiteroles. Wat a kind thought to make them for you. 😊
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, fried egg, bacon (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), pickles and spring onions (S)
D- Beef slices (P), mash, HB gravy (F) cauli, broccoli, cabbage, carrots (S)
Syns- 0

Unfortunately I have to wear glasses all the time! I wouldn't have felt safe driving with my spare pair. I would definitely get your glasses sorted as soon as you are near your opticians.
I think my DD's partner is getting bored because of course he's furloughed! Just had one of the profiteroles after lunch and very nice it was too! Will probably have another after dinner tonight but need to check how many syns I've got left as went over again last night because DH opened a packet of shortbread fingers and I find them irresistible and ended up having 3!

That's a difficult one bubbs although I suppose it's only for a fixed time until the students travel home. Most of the ones that live near me (Hall of residence at the bottom of the road) are Chinese so they don't go home. They usually travel in Europe in the holidays but not this year. In fact there are far fewer students around but I'm not sure whether that's because they're staying in more or have deferred their courses. Perhaps you could reverse your meal and have your pudding as a sort of afternoon tea and then your meal when you know DH has finished work. I think you should do some of your pies and some cottage pies and lasagnes that are easy to heat up.
This afternoon I went to prepare potatoes for mash tonight and found one rotten potato in the bag . Yuk! It smelled horrible and the others were all slimy because of it. So I peeled them all and made some chips for the freezer as well as a larger portion for mash. I don't often get around to it but I find doing chips in advance like that (parboil then open freeze) makes the chips crispier when they're cooked from frozen.
I had to go out earlier so called into Home Bargains. I think I was desperate to feel a bit normal. I got DH his pitted dates that he loves on his muesli plus bacon and yet more beetroot! DH laughed today when we put the glass recycling out. He said it gave a whole new meaning to 'pickled' as we seemed to have as many beetroot and cornichon jars as wine bottles! 🤣1 -
