Thank you for the recipe link @maman ! I never though to look to hairy bikers, might have a look round there tonight for other ideas

I grated a carrot into it and you cant tell tis there, bit of a blond moment and forgot to add peppers so im going to roast some pepper tonight and have it on the side with a baked potato and the chilli mix – mix things up a bit.

    B: fruit and fibre milk

L: boiled egg, picked onions cheese and celery soup

D : BP with chilli and roasted peppers

Think tomorrow I will have the chilli leftovers in a bowl for my lunch – warming !

Why on earth would your neighbour be dragging his washing machine around ruby?? Very odd. 🤔 You're doing really well to go running. Walking is enough Body Magic for me until I can start dancing again. In the first lockdown I did a daily 10 minutes of exercises indoors too. I should start that up again.

Have you tried the Hairy Bikers braised steaks klew?

If you like gravy it's brilliant. I count it as free because  for a shared teaspoon of cornflour  it isn't worth doing the maths!  I do the full recipe but just 2 steaks (I use medallions from Aldi) and always add mushrooms, sometimes carrots too. I's great as a roast  or with chips as they intended. It's on my meal plan for Saturday. 😋

Good luck for  WI tomorrow denise.  Clean jeans is generally a good guide. 😊

I went to Sainsbury's today to use the double up Nectar points vouchers. Some of the bubbs magic must have rubbed off because I got 3 packs of cod fillets and some asparagus tips all half price. 😁 Change of plan for dinner. Because I went out this afternoon, it's quicker to have a freezer meal than make the planned casserole.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk
    L- JP (F), LO sausage casserole (P,S), beetroot (S)
D- savoury mince (P), new potatoes (F), cauli, broccoli, cabbage, carrots (S)
    Syns- 0

I've never thought of stuffing BNS bubbs. Do you do it with mince like marrow? 🤔

I made like a spag bol, to start with i cut the squasg and took seeds out, then i put in microwave for 9 mins, then i added the cold spag bol(made it this morning) and put it in the de seeded bit, then i sprinkled paprika over the thin end, then in hot oven for about 15 mins, took it out and noticed it was crusty so i sprayed a couple of squirts of butter fry light on it and then put the cheese on and back in oven about 10 mins  then it went all caramelized, it really was lush, also need hardly any meat.

I will DEF make this again

Morning all, looking a nice day today after the horrendous wind and rain late last night.  No washing today though!  Weather not looking brilliant for the weekend though so will leave washing until Monday probably as I think that's the first day it'll be dry again!  Need to go shopping today though as need quite a few bits, including more fruit and veg!

Weighed this morning and have put on 0.5lb and am now just 0.5lb below top end of target.  Need to really try and stick with it this week and get a loss again.  Would like to lose as much as possible before Christmas to give me a bit of leeway - that's 6 more WIs!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - P; HEA2
    L - Cullen skink - P; S; F; slice of bread (0.5 HEB)
    D - Lancashire hotpot, cauliflower, peas - P; S; F
    S - 2 Ryvita, Primula Light 2, cucumber

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - slice bread/2 Ryvita
Syns - 25g Primula light 2; not sure what else if anything

  • Morning all.  That BNS looks amazing bubbs, definitely something to try.  And I have no idea what he was doing maman other than creating a lot of noise.  They're a bit strange in that house anyway - they're renting it and so far this year have managed to pretty much break every bit of furniture that the house came with judging by the amount of broken furniture dumped in the garden.  The landlord has called the police on them a few times too which caused much excitement in the road

"Run" last night was pretty good and actually upped my pace accidentally but still felt good for it.  Not sure I'll be saying the same thing next week when I have to run for longer and walk a bit less   Did an upper body workout this morning so the arms are feeling a bit tired.  Had the other half of my baked oats from yesterday for breakfast, will be leftover chow mein for lunch and then a good old jacket potato with cheese, coleslaw and salad for dinner.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Back again!  Have just written my weight down and checked against last week and not as bad as I thought this morning - it was actually a STS and not the 0.5lb I thought it was but still want to lose over the next few weeks!

DH and I enjoyed the Cullen skink for lunch but both said it could do with a better flavoured smoked fish so may try smoked cod rather than haddock if I do it again.  Looking forward to the Lancashire hotpot tonight as not had that for a quite a long time, in fact can't remember the last time I made it.
