Morning all! Well done klew, I'm sure you'll get there next week for sure!
Actually started C25K last night even though it was raining and I felt really good for it afterwards. Wasn't huffing and puffing too much and took it gently. Thought the legs would be killing me this morning but actually they felt ok so managed a gentle toning workout with some abs stuff thrown in.
Rewarded myself with a bacon and tomato sandwich for breakfast and then having veggie chilli for lunch followed by a veggie chow mein for dinner. Hope you all have a good day.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173 -

Great bargains bubbs, even better that you were able to use your coupon because you were doing your friend's shopping! That'll be one tasty cottage pie!

More good bargain bubbs. Your friend must be delighted that you're doing her shopping!
Thanks for the sweet and sour recipe denise. I do much the same but with tinned pineapple and some of the juice so it's more synful. Last time I overdid the vinegar so it had too much of the sour. 😉
This is the Hairy Biker's chilli that I used klew.

I think it's delicious. I sometimes use a Tesco red wine stock pot and I don't bother with the flour but it would only be 2 syns for he whole lot if you did. I do it in the SC and rarely eat it on the day so it can marinate. Lately I've been replacing the meat with an extra couple of tins of various beans and any extra Speed I can think of like peppers, carrots, courgettes, baby corn, mushrooms etc etc. 😋
IIRC I have about 12 syns left this week. I don't need any today and just 1 tomorrow for some cornflour. That should mean I lose the pound I need to get back in range although I won't know! 🤔 I don't think I'd buy a countdown for Zoom bubbs but I think loads must have them already because when I went last week there were loads of cookery books with people's names on them ready to collect.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, bacon, fried egg (P)
L- cold pork (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), carrots, caul steaks, broccoli, sugar snaps, tomato, mushroom (S)

Morning all. Grey here as well denise, and one of my neighbours has decided to just randomly drag his washing machine out of the house and round to the garages and then back again, creating loads of noise which was helpful when I was on a work call earlier! That's a good bargain bubbs, and really nice of you to keep on shopping for your neighbour. Everyone round here has managed to get online deliveries since March so I'm the only one venturing out to the supermarkets.
Did another workout this morning and planning on my second run this evening and still feeling quite good from all the exercise, plus it's helping me sleep betterHad some apple and cinnamon baked oats for breakfast this morning and managed to make 2 portions so that's breakfast sorted for tomorrow already. Having the last portion of the veggie chilli for lunch today and then homity pie with the birds eye veggie sausages as Sainsbury's were totally out of Linda M's and I don't like Quorn sausages so thought I'd give these ones a go.
