Well done klew! 2 stone next week! 😁

Not too big a gain considering your anniversary ruby. 😊

I'd just add the black beans to a chilli denise. We've been enjoying veggie chilli lately. I use the Hairy Bikers recipe but add extra beans and Speed instead of meat. I freeze it in single portions so, if we don't have it for a main meal, I have it on a JP.

Thanks maman.  Haven't got a chilli planned this month!  Maybe I'll remember and add them next time I put chilli on the menu plan - have to say it's not something we have very often as I'm not over-keen on it!  Will have a look at the HB recipe and perhaps  give it a go.

You could add them into any casserole type meal for extra protein. Perhaps Bolognese or a beef stew? 🤔

maman - I can't remember where I got the Sweet & sour recipe from but think it might have been Minimims, which I haven't used for a few years now.  It's 1 synsfor the whole lot - supposedly serves 4 but DH and I have it between us so 0.5 syn each!

    2tp cornflour/1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice/2 Tbs water - mixed to a paste
    2 cloves of garlic
    4 Tbs tomato puree
    1 Tbs white wine vinegar
    4 Tbs soy sauce
    150ml stock
    2 tsp sweetener
fresh pineapple (optional) - but if I use it I just stir it through at the end so it's not cooked and therefore no need to syn

Add everything to a pan, stir and bring to boil.  Reduce heat to medium low and then keep stirring until thickened.  Remove from heat, stir through pineapple if using and serve.

It's a much darker sauce than anything you'd ever get from the local Chinese takeaway!!!

Back later with my plans for today (apart from sweet & sour chicken for dinner tonight!)

Thanks everyone, yes im dying to get the 2 stone next week

    B: fruit and fibre milk

L: pitta pizza and celery soup

D : chilli and rice (not strictly following a sw chilli as I wasn’t that keen on the last one I made but I will be bulking out 250g of mince with lots of speed) The other 250g I haven’t got plans for yet I might freeze it for the time being.

Went easy on the carbs last night as I felt with the fruit and fibre and the pitta I was a bit bloated, gosh I wouldn’t have noticed that 12 weeks ago!
