It's 2 syns for my half of the sultanas (I'll put in 25g which is 3.5 syns) not for 2 sultanas LOL!

You need to marinade the chicken portions overnight in a plastic bag, I just put the marinade in the bag and then closed it up and kind of massaged it all over the chicken, then did the same again in the morning and again before throwing the whole lot into the baking tin to make sure it was well marinaded.  Also basted the chicken a couple of times part way through cooking.

Egg fried coconut rice for lunch was quite nice but think it's probably better to do it with just plain boiled rice rather than coconut rice!

Just back from our walk, done about 3 miles or so along the beach - it's hard work on the stony bits!  First walk we've done for a while so not too bad a distance for a couple of oldies!  Have to say I much prefer to walk that sort of distance, or more, around the golf course!

Absolutely agree about the golf.  It's probably one of the easiest forms of exercise for social distancing.  It was one of the first sports they allowed to happen when they first started derestricting the first lockdown.  It's particularly annoying as we've only recently started playing again after a break of almost 10 years because of problems DH has had with his shoulder, elbow and wrist!  It's now been a couple of years since everything was sorted out so decided now was a good time to start again!  Oh, well we'll just have to wait until next month and start again!

Big news of the year is his nibs will be leaving us at Christmas 🥳
That's great news tie. Roll on Christmas!!😁🎄 It'll be the best thing for your health for years!!

Don't get me started on the silly lockdown rules. Why is it that it's OK to go fishing with another person and sit together for endless hours but not to play golf or tennis??? You can walk around a golf course and throw a ball for your dog (even ping it about with one of those stick things) but not play golf??? Madness!!😖

We went out for a walk today but only about 45 minutes. Hopefully longer next time. 😉

Much wine was consumed last night as my team is briefly top of the Premier League. It'll only be for a few hours but well worth celebrating!!⚽❤

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S)
    L- cold meat (P), bubble & squeak (F,S), beetroot and cornichons (S)
    D- mushroom stroganoff (S, HEA2), brown rice (F)
    Syns- weekend wine 😊

    Evening all,
Glad to hear your good  news TIE.  Roll on crimbo!

Still plodding on here.  Busy gardening when I have spare time, and about to embark on decorating our bedroom, which entails stripping the woodchip off the walls and ceiling that has been there since we moved in years ago.  We live in an older house, and from experience in other rooms we've done it takes days and days to strip the stuff off the solid walls, so that's my body magic sorted for the next few weeks.  Struggling to keep fully on plan, but doing my best, and that's all I can hope for at the mo.

I do try to keep an eye on things here though when I can.

Also feeling slightly less stressed knowing the big orange twonk is about to leave the White House
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Sary Rather you than me with the stripping of wood chip!  Been there, done that, got the T-shirt!  It's awful stuff and makes such a mess, seems to get everywhere.  As you say body magic sorted for a while.

Glad you're still plodding and keeping an eye on us all here.

Love your description "the big orange twonk", made me LOL!

Morning all, another lovely day today, it's brightening up quite nicely.  Hopefully we'll get out for another walk this afternoon.  Our consultant has challenged the groups to walk to Lapland - it's nearly 1500 miles!  Suspect with the number of people taking part we may well manage there and back!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
L - LO tagine, couscous - P; S; F (synned yesterday so not counting today)
    D - roast chicken, roast potatoes, roasted peppers, onions & carrots, cabbage, cauliflower - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - none planned
    Syns - sausages 2;  rum & ginger beer 5

If I'm peckish this evening I'll have a couple of Ryvita (3 syns) & some cheese (HEA2)

    Have a good day everyone.

It's dull but mild here denise, no sign of the sun. Not sure what we'll do today. Plenty of ironing to keep me busy! 🤣

I'm having the last portion of the beef stew I made with LO beef today. I can't believe how many meals I got from the last beef joint. Including what's left in the freezer it's about 9. I'll definitely make stew from LO cooked beef again. I redid my freezer inventory yesterday as it had gone a bit haywire so I'm now  more confident of what I have in there.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- beef stew (P,S.F)
D- roast pork (P), roast potatoes (F), BNS, carrots, swede, red cabbage, cauli, broccoli, greens (3 cabbage mix)
Syns- HP sauce 1, gravy 4, weekend wine😊
