    Good morning all,

Had low fat supermarket butchers sausages last night at 1.5 syns each. I wouldn’t rush to get them again, they were packed with flavour but they almost burnt your mouth with the pepper. Served with chips mushrooms and beans. Really just fancied a plain dinner. Had a headache all day so it was that followed by plenty of juice, a dark room and cosy pjs.

    Today

    B: fruit and fibre milk

    L: dirty rice

D : BP tuna and salad

S: I can feel some chocolate coming on today!

Morning all, drove into town this morning and realised I'd left everything at home - I literally just had my car key and front door key so didn't make it to group!  Really annoyed as won't be going next week either as we're going away for the weekend.

Going by the weight on my scales I've managed a maintain which I'm happy with as thought I was in for a gain!

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette - P; S
    L - Buddha bowl with avocado and halloumi - HEA2; S; F; 3.5
    D - smoked salmon puffs; boiled potatoes & green beans - this is a WW recipe with choux pastry - P; S; F; 3

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - halloumi
    HEB - none planned
    Syns - avocado 3.5; choux pastry 3

Hope your day starts better than mine!

Low syn sausages are a bit hit and miss klew. I have the Aldi ones at half a syn. The skin is a bit tough but they taste OK for me. Was that real fruit juice ? I don't think it's worth the syns which is why I start every day with a large glass of NAS squash instead. Of course, fermented grape juice is different. 😉

What a waste of time denise. Fortunately I live close enough that I could have driven home for my book and card . It's worth checking if they'd have let you weigh though just in case it happens again. I have to go to WI next week . I just realised I'm out for lunch on Wednesday but que sera.

Hope you manage to get some lunch bubbs.😊

    Todays EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries and strawberries (S)
    L- beef stew (P,S,F)
    D- SW Bolognese (P,S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns- 0

I text my consultant to explain what had happened and she was OK about it but said she could have done me a new card (which I knew) but it was the fact I'd forgotten my face shield as well and I didn't even have one of my fabric face coverings in the car or my coat pocket and obviously have to have one or the other!  She also said she'd got some disposable face coverings so could have had one but I didn't know that, otherwise I would have walked round there and got weighed but wouldn't have stayed as no way I can wear a face covering for the whole time which is why I have a face shield (I suffer from COPD so breathing can be a bit difficult with face covering).

My drive is nearly half an hour so by the time I got home and back again I'd have completely missed group!  I know there aren't any spaces in the following group as that one is full as well as my own one, particularly this week as a lot of the ladies have young children who they have to bring with them because it's half term and apparently all of those have to be counted too!

So I'm not going to beat myself up because I couldn't make group through my own stupidity and won't weigh next week either as going away so it'll be 3 weeks but I think it's probably about time I stopped going every week anyway after 10 years!

May need to change dinner tonight as we have no water!  There has been a burst main and water has been off for the last couple of hours - pressure was really low this morning but didn't think anything of it but obviously the main was already leaking then.

Have been onto the water company to check we're on the priority register which we are so hopefully we should get some bottled water later but whether that will be in time to cook dinner I don't know.  We have a couple of bottles of water that we can use but obviously don't want to waste it so would rather change to jacket potatoes rather than boiled as then would only need a little to wash them before cooking so that's probably what I'll do.

Think I'm going to have to drink some rum and ginger beer this evening if we haven't got water by then!  That will be a hardship, LOL!

just good old NAS robinsons in a big sports bottle to make sure i drank plenty, headache continued till lunchtime but i can feel it easing slightly now thank goodness. Still going to keep the fluids right up and hopefully that helps, it has been really dull here so i think that is part of the problem

Oh poor you denise. It's tough being forced to drink rum rather than waste waster on a cuppa!😉🤣 Hope it's sorted PDQ.

I get headaches when the air pressure is low too klew. Hope you feel better very soon. Extra fluids are always good. 😊

I went into the city centre today and thought I'd weigh in Boots just to see how I was doing. Big Mistake!! I was 3lbs out of target. I don't think they're particularly accurate so it could be more. 😞 Hopefully it will push me to be a bit more careful. I think we went so long without eating out that recent restaurant trips and weekday drinking have added that few pounds.

Good excuse though maman, not that I need one seeing as it's Thursday and not weighing for another 2 weeks!  Still no sign of it being sorted unfortunately.

Still no sign of bottled water!  DH has driven to where they usually have a water bowser when we have problems (it seems to happen now and again in this area) but from what the water company was saying when I spoke to them was that bottles would be delivered direct to the door.

Hope Boots scale were wrong!  As you say it will push you to be more careful this week.

We finally have a dribble of water!  Apparently they've done a temp fix so we'll have water for this evening and then will do a permanent fix overnight.  Think I'm going to fill up the kettle and the coffee machine so we can at least have a drink tomorrow morning as the bottled water still hasn't arrived.
