Mmm crackling – might do pork at the weekend! So I lost a pound this week, happy with that, chipping away nicely. 1 stone 10.5 pounds off in total.
Ate a pot of ben and jerrys over the weekend as my treat
B: fruit and fibre milk
L: Mug of Celery Soup, chicken breast, pickled onions,
D : Something with mince, feel like tonight I might make a few dishes with it, chilli, mince and tatties, ragu and something else as I can bulk it right out with speed
S: freddo space raiders

Well done klew. 👏👏👏
Two stone is getting closer by the week. 😉
Definitely mince and tatties weather. I made some at the weekend because bubbs got me fancying it. 😋1 -
Well done klew. Keema curry is one of my favourite things to make with mince. If I'm honest any sort of curry is OK by me!

We tried that creamy cabbage with peppers recipe tonight and it went down well. It's like a hot coleslaw and made a nice change from usual veg. We had it with fish but it would go well with gammon. I'll definitely do it again. 😋2

My fish was lovely again and tasted better because cod was on a glitch so cheap 😂😂Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:1 -
Morning all. Hot coleslaw sounds...interesting maman, not sure it's one for me as I'm a bit funny when it comes to cabbage anyway. Fish looked great bubbs.
Saw a deer on my walk last night due to the end of BST it was a lot darker at 5pm. Made up for the bitter coldHad another lie in this morning because I just couldn't be bothered. Have had a cup of tea but now feel like some breakfast - probably going to have porridge. Think it will be some leftover chicken in black bean sauce (minus the rice) for lunch and then a lemon and garlic sardine pasta for dinner tonight. Hope you all have a good day!

I used to be funny with cabbage but now I love it. I try to keep a range from white, savoy, sweetheart and kale on the go and mix them up as I like the mixed colours and flavours. Here's the recipe if anyone wants to give it a try.

Morning all, have been shopping this morning and managed to get most of what was on my list except dried chickpeas again! Will try again on Thursday in Mr Ts and hopefully they'll have some in by then. Managed to get one of the £1.50 fruit and veg boxes from Lidl this morning and have got loads of tangerines, easy peelers and 5 packs of 6 apples - 2 of pink lady and 3 Golden Delicious; a pack of leeks, 3 pointy peppers all different colours, pack of baby cucumbers so not a bad haul for £1.50!
DH has made DGD a sourdough loaf as she absolutely loves it and asked last night when he was going to make another one! As he was going to cook one today anyway he said she could have that one and he's started another loaf for himself which he'll cook tomorrow - he'll have to put up with wholemeal today if he wants any more bread, LOL! Will also take some of the tangerines and apples down to her and DD.
Last night's dinner was OK but certainly not as good as it's been when we've eaten there before. I had the parma ham and mozzarella salad for starter - there was a few syns for a couple of tiny slices of French stick and about a tsp of pesto; main was the lamb rump (DH's and DD's partner had the same and there was lovely but mine had a sinewy bit right through the middle!); boiled potatoes, spinach & tomatoes; DH and I shared a cheese board but there was far too much so we bought most of the cheese home! I only had diet tonic to drink but DH decided to drive home anyway, still at least it means I was probably within syns!
Today has turned out to be an accidental Green day:
B - eggs on toast - HEB1; P
L - jacket potato, baked beans, salad - S; F
D - butternut squash and chickpea curry from freezer, basmati & wild rice mix
S - Ryvita & cheese (if fancy it this evening) - HEA2; HEB2
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese?
HEB1 - bread
HEB2 - Ryvita?
Syns - none planned
